Hi...just looking into other thoughts on stomach issues I'm having, will the gp do a h-pylori stool test if I ask or is it best to do this via online testing? thanks for any help....

Also I don't understand why they dont treat me for H Pylori. Again, Dr Google told me 80% of stomach ulcers are caused by H Pylori. I did ask whether the endocopy had revealed H Pylori, but the reply either indicated they'd not tested, or that they'd tested and it was negative.

If the test is positive, H. pylori is present. If it's negative, you likely do not have H. pylori in your stomach. " In the medicial field that is rare for their testing. I am just starting my study perhaps they are better when bacteria is involved with testing.

My son has history with h pylori, which he was treated for, but the symptoms haven't gone away completely. Last week I was talking about my own b12 deficiency and he informed me he has the same symptoms. I know he has been more tried than normal, but I put it due to the h pylori, after effects.

I’m on low dose NDT with Dr Frey and have thyroid nodules (biopsy tested benign) Tested positive for h pylori via a breath test in October and was offered quadruple abx therapy.

Im just about to redo H Pylori 10 years on,previously negative, PA neg.... I do believe there is a B12 uptake issue , but having supplemented with B Complex for more than 20 years I would expect results to be flawed.

I had stool and blood test for h pylori in October last year. Both of these tests came back as negative. More recently I had an endoscopy because I got to the point where I felt really full and have barely eaten for months, although, in October last year this made my symptoms improve.

With my VM I frequently have H. Pylori and have had Giardi. I have been scoped from one end to the other from the age of 32-58 and usually nothing is found. Just be aware that if perchance you are like me you may have the same issues.

I have done a commercial serum test some years ago and that showed that there has been a h. pylori bacterial infection in my body. To be sure that there isn't an active infection at the moment the consultant ordered an urease breath test.

Also, I have had h~pylori test and that was negative. I am currently having CBT for my health anxiety and trying really hard not to think the worst/ constantly phone the GP about the same thing so anyone who relates please do let me know if this seems like a “regular” gastritis issue.

And a 💩 test to do for H pylori bacteria as I'm having a lot of gastric issues, particularly since starting injections. Has anyone else found H pylori to be the cause of their deficiency? And can low B12 happen alongside MS?? How can everything be normal when I'm feeling so ABnormal???
