H pylori

Hi, I’ve been through 3 rounds of triple therapy for H-pylori and I feel it’s really impacted my hypothyroidism as my symptoms are all at a very high level at the moment and I’m exhausted when I wake up and again by the end of the day.

Would this indicate AIG rather than H Pylori? Thanks.

GP has done stool tests but never mentioned H pylori

Has anyone completely recovered after successful eradication of H pylori? 4. Can the damage done by helicobacter be repaired? Any thing I can take to repair the mucosa? 5 Any medication for pain and spasm in the upper abdominal centre.

Has anyone on here had H Pylori. I became unwell at the end of November and was tested for HP in early December but it came back negative. At the end of January I finally had an endoscopy which confirmed that indeed I did have HP.

Also I don't understand why they dont treat me for H Pylori. Again, Dr Google told me 80% of stomach ulcers are caused by H Pylori. I did ask whether the endocopy had revealed H Pylori, but the reply either indicated they'd not tested, or that they'd tested and it was negative.

Returned and saw the same Dr who got me to do a H- pylori and another stool test. Again both have come back fine. My stomach pain etc have not stopped. On Friday I saw a woman Dr who pretty much said it’s IBS and drink lots of water. Also to take fibre gel with Mebeverine.

Im just about to redo H Pylori 10 years on,previously negative, PA neg.... I do believe there is a B12 uptake issue , but having supplemented with B Complex for more than 20 years I would expect results to be flawed.

I’m hoping that it’s h-pylori or a reaction from eating gluten (I’d accidentally eaten some a week before I had the stool test. Many thanks
