Any advice on how to get one done that's reliable?

I see them on Amazon, home test etc. not sure I'd trust.

GP has done stool tests but never mentioned H pylori

As I understand it, H Pylori is a breath test. Would be worth asking for it from your GP if you have symptoms.

A friend has used tests bought on Amazon. They proved to be reliable, as when it was done again at the GPs they were also positive

Where I am, its pooh test at the GP, no mention of anything else being available. . It never occurred to me you could buy them so I will try that.

I have extended family have have just been tested for H Pylori via their GP. Best to get it done through them, since it will be free and you know that it is tried and tested.
