Glyceryl Trinitrate

Atorvastatin 20mg, Asprin 75mg, and Omeprazole Capsules 10mg, plus Glyceryl Trinitrate 400 micro-grams spray. I was given an ECG which was fine. I had understood that i would be referred to a cardiac clinic anyway, as GP said they did not have the equipment to confirm Angina at the surgery.

Can You Have Too Much GTN Spray?

Hello, I have this Glyceryl Trinitrate spray that I am supposed to use if I get a pain. I have used it a couple of times, when I thought I had a pain, but it makes me feel really bad, (heart racing, head pounding and a bit sick).

Worried wife

So he has been using Glyceryl Trinitrate spray and it works but I thought it was for angina and he hasn't been told he has that. Also he's now using it a lot more (probably about 3 times a day) is this ok?

I have had to use my GTN spray several times after my heart attack kast September. I dread using it and put off using it as it makes dizzy and i feel really sick and get a head breaking headache within minutes of using it. Does anyone else suffer any problems using it?

After a routine phone conversation with my Dr over a completely different matter, { testosterone levels } she noticed that I was out of breath. I explained that I had just done something and was

Cycle No More – or maybe?

I had my latest angiogram on Friday 5 mar, the result of which was that no additional stents were fitted and that no physical improvement actions were implemented. Although I was aware of the possibility that no improvements would be possible during this process I really was not mentally prepared for

Questions about stents and support

Update and questions I haven't posted on here for a while for many reasons (including the whole COVID thing) but as I'm still trying to get my head round stuff and had questions, I'm hoping there are some of you out there who can offer me some ideas/support. I'm currently seen at the Brompton, where

First time posting

Hello everyone, I've been around for a 2-3 months and have done a lot of reading but thought it about time to write a post, apologies if it's too long! Coronary Angiogram

I'm due to go into have this on Wednesday. Very relieved, slightly nervous... more than slightly when I think about it too much. The hospital have decided to do a two in one so to speak, if they find it's a blocked artery they will put in a stent whilst I'm there so I'm taking blood thinning tablets

Heart Twinges after physical activity

I had 3 stents fitted after MI in April last year. Every now and then, I get twinges in my heart. I this is normal and nothing to worry about. I cycle at least 5 days a week for 6 miles, HR up to 130 with no issues. My concern is, after being very active over the weekend, house clearing, I am having

Everything was fine, and this miraculous operation described as 'routine'. Since then I've often felt perfectly ok, but have also had days (and nights) where I almost
