Coronary artery vasospasm
Following a recent angiogram (with acetylcholine) I now know my angina is vasospasm. I first noticed it early 2014 and it’s gradually worsened since but thankfully not (yet) at night or at rest. My symptoms suggested micro vascular angina but those vessels appear to be in the clear. The coronary artery

Not so quick visit to Cardiac Suite
Hi all, Very relieved to be back home after a 'visit' to the cardiac suite yesterday. First time I've needed to use my GTN spray, since my STEMI in February and my 7 stents and unfortunately having used up my max uses, needed to call the 9's! Luckily all was fine, usual ECG, Troponin blood test,

Unusual angina
I've had angina for years, always as lower jaw pain on physical stress. A few days ago I suddenly developed the jaw pain which extended up into my facial bones and was accompanied by the feeling that someone had dropped a lump of lead on my chest with a surge of pressure up my throat into my jaw.

Tiredness and Angina
Hi, I was diagnosed with stable angina after Christmas, I'm on Ramipril, Amlopidine, Bisoprolol and Isosorbide Mononitrate (60mgs every morning). I had an echocardiogram last week and awaiting an angiogram but waiting lists here in West Wales are horrendous. My query is this, does anybody else get

Exercise & Radiosensitivity.
New study below [1]. It appears in the journal "Sports Medicine - Open", where authors pay to be published, although the papers are peer reviewed. But "Sports Medicine"? Isn't that akin to paying someone to bury your PCa paper in the middle of the Sahara? Perhaps not, if you are still reading. Some

Is it normal to have an attack a day after having a Stent?
I had a stent fitted Tuesday and was discharged after having a heart attack on the previous Friday. I presented with jaw pain. Since my stent I have had 1 attack a day so far again with jaw pain. I have used GTN spray and it event2took the pain away. But is this usual to happen so frequently?

I'm new & need help re vasospastic angina
Hi there, I have chest pains (and left arm pain more recently) that started in Nov 21. I have done a number of tests (ECG, CT Angio, Blood Tests, Chest Xray, sonography etc.) which have been normal. The only test that showed anything was a stress ECG after which my doctor prescribed Dilitiazam and GTN
