I wrote just now and lost it all so here goes again: on Friday I was on the bus back from shopping and about 2 minutes after getting on, sitting down, I became really unwell, my eyesight was impaired (not like migraine), felt nauseous and Inwas going to pass out, just managed to grip the metal bar in front of me. My son met me at the bus stop, helped me get home. I rang 111 and asked advice, the sent an ambulance, the paramedics checked my BP, did an ECG etc, I did not want to go to hospital so left it at that. Saturday I did go out but had trouble walking home. On Sunday I woke up at about 5.45 feeling unwell, checked my BP, which was 183/83 so alerted Lifeline, they got an ambulance and I was taken to A&E. There I had the usual, ECG, bloods etc. about 5 hours later they said I could go as nothing obvious and that’s what they deal with I suppose. I have been having chest pains, flutters, breathlessness at times and for a few weeks now a persistent productive cough. This has been going on since September 2024. I’ve had heart scan, echocardiogram, and in January an angiogram. I have a leaky mitral valve and a pacemaker for heart block. Waiting for an appointment at the respiratory clinic. I feel like I am putting it on but I know something is wrong. I take BPmedication, have a GTN spray and 30mg Relosorb for angina daily. My daughter thinks it could be past difficult life experiences coming out physically?

I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with this - please do not let anyone make you feel that you are "putting this on", it is affecting how you live your life and you need help with this
I can't tell you what is going on but I suggest that you try to take life a bit more gently while you wait for further appointments - try to get help with shopping and stuff which takes effort
Your heart and lungs seem to be struggling to cope just now so try to reduce their workload by doing a bit less and putting your feet up a bit more - I hope you get answers and helpful treatment soon
