has anybody had aches in their breast and ribs it feels muscular as if you have been to the gym.it eases when I take my bra off. I go to bed with a hot water bottle and the aches go away I told my gp and she said that was fine.can I do anything else or just wait and see if this calms down

I have been to a&e twice and my blood and ecg came back fine . My nurse at cardiac rehab said it was anxiety and walk it of which helps some times.also a.e put down to anxiety.

Sorry have not told you want I had in may 2024 I had a takotsubo cardiomyopathy I take bisoprolol 2.5 and atovastatio 40mg I was all so given a spray glyceryl trinitrate not sure when and if to use it I have ask dr and nurses and even a pharmacist no one is sure why I have got it have used it three times two times it work . I did see my cardiologist for 10 minutes when he signed me off to my gp .but didn’t have the aches as had not started cardio fitness then . I never get out of breath sleep ok do 5 miles walk and go to a fitness class as I have now finished cardio rehab and been signed off sorry it is so long I also have T2 diabetes not on any medication loss of weight and following low carb diet.

Am I being super sensitive I think as time has gone on and have been looking into it in more depth and understanding better it is not what my doctor says you came in with a sad heart and now you have a happy heart it is back to normal and you want see me again I hope. I have no follow up appointment.

I am or sure where to go next I was thinking going private to a cardiologist appointment but not sure if he can tell me anything more I know it’s a new find in heart world have watched a lot of debate on it from BHF sorry it is so long

I definitely get that. I put it down to the muscles still re-anchoring themselves to my sternum post OHS, but it could also just be that I'm focusing more on my physical health and therefore exercising more, etc.

But if you are suffering from anxiety, that can be treated too. I'm on an SSRI mainly for major depressive disorder, but it greatly reduces my anxiety as well.

I’ve had no issues with Bisoprolol but I’m on the lowest dose

Sorry but I just use bisoprolol with other tablets for a leaky heart valve
