Today I received this notice from Pharmacy2U

“We have received a prescription for Glyceryl trinitrate 400micrograms/dose aerosol sublingual spray, unfortunately, we are out of stock of this item and have been unable to source this for you due to low availability of this product across the UK. As we haven’t been given a delivery date from our suppliers, this medication has been cancelled from your prescription’.

Anyone else been told this? Im a regular user, so its pretty bad news.

Hello

Don't know how my answer went away off to space ! but I did say contact your GP there are alternative tablets that are slow release. I do know in my case when I was on them the need for GTN was very much reduced.

Regards

Mono Isosorbide Nitrate if I remember correctly !

Thank you. Might be a good alternative. I’ll check with GP.

One advantage of GTN spray is you can buy it without a prescription so you can always ring around pharmacies to see who has some available . I've just ordered a repeat prescription today so I'll post again if I have the same problem with my local pharmacy.
