IMPORTANT LIVER PROTECTION
Thus increasing
glutathione
levels is good for the liver and the kidneys. For people with very depleted levels of
glutathione
in their body, taking
glutathione
intravenously would be best, but this is impractical.

MTHFR Gene Mutation possibly linked with Endo
A particular mutation (there are a variety of mutations and you can have more than one) of this gene may cause deficiency in SAMe and
glutathione
which both help eliminate xenoestrogens.

T4 Has A Use Besides Being A Pro-hormone, Who Knew
We have shown that in six hypothyroid human adults, the activity of erythrocyte
glutathione
reductase, an accessible FAD-containing enzyme, is decreased to levels observed during riboflavin deficiency.

The Final Piece of the jigsaw!
If not the root cause then it can impact on other conditions, for instance people with a methylation defect are depleted in
glutathione
which is the cofactor with DI02 for the conversion of T4 into T3. Hence, if you already have a DI02 mutation a methylation problem is a double whammy!

Feedback on bloods please
TSH 0.17 (0.35-5.0) B12 327 (130-800) Serum folate 7.7 (4-20) Serum ferritin 90 (12-50) Still no t3 Through a private test I am low (I.e in need of)
glutathione
(no numbers as this is not an approved test) I had this done as
glutathione
is very necessary to convert t4 to t3 and to give me confirmation

Wonder about

Has anyone taken Immunocal as a treatment for their Parkinson's. if so, was it effective in reducing symptoms or slowing progress?
it claims to increase the antioxidant
Glutathione
in the body and the testimonials are quite impressive. In my opinion it is expensive, but if the improvements are true, then I will give it a try. Thank you Norton

Novel Cancer Hypothesis Suggests Antioxidants Are Harmful
However, as cancer cells evolve, they produce antioxidant proteins that block this effect, such as
glutathione
, superoxide dismutase, catalase, and thioredoxin.

A little bit of hope perhaps
Cognitex (is a complex with lots of the good stuff in) Neurozyme (loads of good herbs in this one), Choline (there are lots of different ways to get this but it seems pretty essential), Huperzine, Astaxanthin, Taurine (an amino acid),
Glutathione
(also an amino acid).
