Does Neem really help reduce blood glucose in a big way?
A doctor told me a patient who had a reading of 400 had 60 the next day. Secret for the big fall was he took smoothie made of neem leaves soaked for the night. Wonder if any one has experienced something like this? (I wonder if wide fluctuations were normal with that patient? Was the 400 because of some

Dexcom - something new to me
I went to Activity2004's page and saw her post about Dexcom. Its something new I've learned today. I did not know you can do continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels! I wonder when it will be available in India at some reasonable price? Here health insurance does not cover so many expenses that

Who do I see? What tests do I need? I don't know what's going on with my pancreas.
Hi, Since there are no other forums for pancreas issues, I hope you don't mind me posting here. Back in 2003, I had acute pancreatitis due to alcoholism, had an endoscopy which showed I'd lost 2/3 of my pancreas (I was never told which bits). Never had any pancreatitis thereafter, despite still being

Help interpreting OGTT results
Hi everyone, I'm new here so apologies if this is not the right place to ask this. I recently took a 2-hour OGTT and was a bit confused by one of the results. Steroids and high blood glucose levels
Hi Just had another course of Prednisolone for another exacerbation. During previous exacerbations I have tested by blood sugar and noted it to be higher. 8-10mmol/l. This course was worse with highs after eating up to 15mmol/l. All back to normal now as soon as the course of steroids was completed.

EXERCISE IS NOT A LUXURY
The vast majority of people in today's urban-centric environment are constantly stressed for time. When not working, they look for 'down-time' by watching TV. The term 'down-time' implies a period when a person can relax both physically and mentally so they can 're-energize'. The truth though is that
