Does Neem really help reduce blood glucose in a big way?

A doctor told me a patient who had a reading of 400 had 60 the next day. Secret for the big fall was he took smoothie made of neem leaves soaked for the night. Wonder if any one has experienced something like this? (I wonder if wide fluctuations were normal with that patient? Was the 400 because of some meter or strip fault. Some other unusual factor or misrepresentation by the patient?)

A smoothie is made with fruit and either ice cream or yogurt mixed in a blender. You need to be careful about how much ice cream/yogurt a person uses.

I also took glass of neem and karela juice on very first day and puked in next five minutes.

The best way to consume Neem leaves is to take 4 or 5 leaves preferably tender ones (I have planted a small tree of my own in a pot ) and tear them in to small pieces by hand and swallow it with little warm water. I felt they are very beneficial for your gums health if you can hold them in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing.

norreal even if one fasted that drop is unlikely. Hidden you know that even on 4 day fasts BS never drops to below 70 unless one is taking drugs that can cause hypo. So norreal its unlikely that, that can happen.

Smoothie is a health drink made with raw green leafy veggies & fruits (like banana , apple , oranges ,water melon berries etc.) some more things can be added like ginger, lemon juice and if you are taking it in place of breakfast one spoon oats or some seeds etc can be added.Then blend these in a mixer with chilled water ,it is a yummy drink for diabetics but make sure to limit sweet fruits.

Never need to take medicine if you do not use carbohydrate in your diet. Blood glucose automatically maintains due to lack of carbohydrate.
