hi Cosmic54

Hope you are keeping well.

My husband had his booster a couple of weeks ago - it was pifzer - BioNTech.

He is on immunotherapy. Atezo and avastin. They are less common in the uk I think. The atezo is a similar drug to pembro.

Best, Sarah x

Hi Cosmic54

The spring booster for 2023 can be either Pfizer, Moderna or Sanofi and you can find the information for the booster from GOV UK link: gov.uk/government/publicati...

It is advisable to check with your oncologist or lung cancer nurse specialist when you should have this, as in before or after your Immunotherapy dose.

They will be able to tell you what covid vaccination it is when you go for your appointment.

If there is anything else you would like to discuss you can contact ask the nurse at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org or call the free phone number on 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday 0900-1700 and Friday 0900-1600

Kind regards

I was contacted by NHS telling me that I was eligible for the vaccine due to be vulnerable. I was able to book an appointment at my local pharmacy via the website. By the way I am not over 70.

No and having had 4 I won't be having any more. But that's my decision based on research I've done.
