Doing better.
Hello all! I hope you’re all well and having a good day! Been on Setraline for just over 2 weeks now. They seem to be helping. I’m more motivated already and want to keep busy. My intrusive thoughts have gotten a little better, they aren’t coming on as strong as they were but I’m still going to make

So mid August I am having some preconception counselling with regards to possibly having baby number 2. Is there anything people think I should ask specifically?

Worries re possible genetic predisposition to lung cancer
I have a friend and the females in each generation of her family have developed lung cancer. New Me
A couple years ago I posted that I was suffering from very strong thoughts of killing myself. Since then my progress in finding a new me and life has been solely based on the fact that I’m worthy of life. No matter how cold and dark it may seem there’s always a silver lining and beyond that you will

The most important piece of the puzzle?
We all wrack our brains trying to figure out how we wound up with Parkinson's. Well water? Mercury toxicity? Lead paint? Roundup? Too much LSD in the 60s? The other day I was talking about my condition with my mom, and she asked me if Parkinson's disease is hereditary. I said it can be, but no one else

Parkinson Therapy Center in Italy
I highly recommend the Parkinson Therapy Center located in Northern Italy, in the spa town of Boario Terme, in a scenic valley of the lake region, at the foot of the Alps. Classes were small, 3 to 4 patients plus spouses in attendance, conducted in English, animated by a positive and friendly staff

Positive results from chemo (Docetaxel) & some questions
Hi, we just finished our 5th out of 6 chemo session today (almost there)! Apart from experiencing fatigue, diarrhea, joint pains for about a week after chemo infusion (docetaxel/taxotere), hubby is tolerating it very well. PSA has gone down from 2.2 prior to chemo to 0.65 just before our 5th cycle. He

6 months Post IL op depression
My husband had IL in jan 2019. He now eats well, little and often, dumping/nausea rare now, has put a little weight on too. Had a good holiday in Tenerife and seemed to be doing well. BUT...... he is now feeling depressed and although having some telephone counselling and taking an anti-depressant

Feels like a soap opera that’s about to be cancelled
Good morning friends...what a week this has been. Going for brain scans and waiting for results, finding out my brother has been hospitalized in a neighboring state for extreme alcohol poisoning/seizures and now alcohol withdrawal; and trying to not over discuss this infidelity thing with my husband

Thinking of you
So very sorry about your devastating loss. My husband was very lucky to survive 2 heart operations. Like your husband, he appeared to be in good health at the age of 51 years, when he suddenly developed atrial fibrillation, caused by mitral valve disease. Within a year, he had developed severe heart

Concerning cold sores
This is my first post. I’d introduce myself, but I’m exhausted from OCD tonight. Bottom line: I have a cold sore. For most people, no biggie. For me? Catastrophic. I feel as if I can’t do ANYTHING without surgical gloves and endless rounds of overzealous hand-washing rituals that consume so much time
