What do I do now?
Hi About 3 years ago, when Covid started and it was difficult/impossible to see a GP, I started taking B12 supplements 3-4 times weekly. I was experiencing many symptoms - fatigue and tingling and breathlessness amongst them. Whilst not wanting to diagnose myself, I felt I had little choice given

Hiatus Hernia + Silent Reflux constant discomfort
9 years ago I was diagnosed with Silent Reflux, 5 years ago with a hiatus hernia. The discomfort previously was intermittent. Since last summer it has been constant. I have had 2 x gastroscopy, but the GPs are all about PPIs, which don't work. My symptoms are mild stomach pain, a cough, croaky voice

Platelets and Enlarged Red Blood Cells
Recently diagnosed cirrhosis but yet to see consultant so I don't know if I am compensated or not. I've been brought forward to see hepatologist from mid April to next Monday due to a cancellation. I've had full liver profile of bloods. According to my GP everything was normal apart from low platelets

Hi all I’ve not been here for nearly 3 months time has disappeared recently. Last time here was the night before my surgery.
Surgery was ok ( In hindsight ! ). total hysterectomy bilateral salpingoophrectomy .., they took my appendix and also omentum. Histology came back as Stage 1c2 mucinous adenocarcinoma . Was suspected ( as most mucinous are ) that it was a secondary tumour from GI origin ( stomach / bowel) I’ve had

Possible ET but triple negative
Ive been reading posts on this forum having been sent to haematologist as have high platelet levels. Consultant was quite sure a blood test would come back positive for one of the genetic markers but it didnt. So ive had a ct scan, a gastroscopy and colonoscopy but nonee of those showed anything that

Thyroidectomy
A year ago I had total thyroidectomy and I obviously rely on Levothyroxine 125 mcg. Next Monday I'm due to have a gastroscopy and colonoscopy because of my out of range full blood count and blood in my stool. My question here is how am I to decide when to take my Levo and then my other BP tablets giving

LPR? Advice please.
Had GORD for over 20 years and Barrett's was diagnosed about 5 years ago. Was refused a check up by a GP ( quote; The NHS don't do those any more. ) but managed to wrangle a gastroscopy by a reckless and arrogant 'medic' and ended up with a hiatus hernia and thrush, then told I did not have Barratt's

Suspected B12 deficiency and about to start SI
Hi everyone, I’ve had ID anaemia (microcytic hypochromic) for over 20 years and was told by a GP many years ago that this was due to malabsorption. I’ve had hypothyroidism since 2014, long covid for the past 2 years, and a vax injury from March 2021 that is only just being investigated by rheumatology

PPI medication & Levothyroxine
I’ve just had a gastroscopy. Diagnosis is oesophagitis and gastritis. The hospital recommends I’m prescribed a high dose PPI for 6 weeks which should then be reduced gradually dependant upon my symptoms. I’m concerned that, combined with Hashimitos (I take 75mg Levothyroxine daily), this might cause
