please help.

Hi everyone can you please tell me if this heartburn in the chest ever hoses away. My gastroscopy was clear apart from slightly inflamed esophgeaus but I feel I’m in more pain now than before. Please how long does ormoprazole take to work I read 1-2 days but I’ve been on them a week now and nothing is changed. Sorry for rants post the pain is after every time I eat

I would revisit my medic or at least ask to speak with them by phone. If the medic isnt helping you perhaps you need to change to a different treatment or amend the dose. Its often trial and error to find the best and effective treatment. Good luck, there is a solution, be persistent.

thanks for reply. As from yesterday they have put me on 40mg of ormoprazole.

No mine is never under control. It has quiet times and then flares again. Its a way of life for me. I cant take proton pump inhibitors as they trigger my cardiac arrhythmias but I prefer not to take them anyway. The battle continues. Happy days!

I watched Dr Burg on youtube who gave some good advice as I had esophagitis which meant I had trouble swallowing my food and kept getting a lump in my throat. He suggested organic wheatgrass and calcium lactate which I took every day and after 2 months I could eat normally again. Now its been 8 months and I can eat with no lump in throat. I still get heartburn but I do not take the prescribed medication as he warns that it does not help and can make it worse so I stopped taking them. I find Coconut water helps with my heartburn and I take the occassional antacid and I drink lots of water. I still have the wheatgrass three times a week with the calcium lactate which I got from amazon in powder form. I have been so much better since watching Dr Burgs videos and taking his advice
