About 5months ago I started to experience epigastric pain that is constant before and after eating several bowel movements per day. after several blood tests ultrasound and a gastroscopy still no answers.
Initially was treated for query gallstones ultrasound showed no stones, however, did show in large spleen and fatty liver. Blood work is coming back within normal ranges apart from LDH which is elevated. Cholesterol and thyroid test also coming back within range. Gastroscopy showed some mosaic cells and biopsies taken with no issues.
Having to take a lot of time off work because the pain which is not being suppressed while taking Co-Codamol removed gluten and dairy from diet but still having pain.
And yet GP still does not know what is going on.
GP appointment later this week to discuss everything just like to get some ideas and suggestions of what are the symptoms are.
Thanks

The high LDH signals some sort of tissue damage from an injury, disease or infection.
Has the doctor ordered a CBC? Had your hemoglobin level been measured? Are you possibly anemic?
What about kidney function tests ? Serum Creatinine level in urine? Blood urea nitrogen (BUN), urine albumin to creatinine ratio ( UABC ), blood pressure. Did they do a dipstick on your urine?
Has the doctor done liver enzyme tests? There are four enzymes that should be measured.
Should you get an MRI?
Finally, have you had any surgery where metal clips or mesh as inserted in your body? These can erode: migrate and cause terrible pain. Should you have an X-ray?
GP has done ;FBC ,white bloods cell, liver function, kidney bloods. Bloods only showing slight elevation for AST serum and ALT, all other bloods word showing with in normal range. Blood pressure is between 115-118/75-80. No MRI or metal work.
