Totally distraught and worried!!!
Hi everyone, I’m so scared. I really need someone to tell me everything will be okay. I keep crying as I’m so distraught this has happened. My husband is amazing but can only do and say so much as this isn’t happening to him. I really need hope right now. I’m soon to be 42 and am 5 months postpartum

New GCA treatment
Three years since I read everything about PMR and now revisiting everything. Scary. 48 hours since treatment started (60mg) and headaches almost gone and most jaw pain / difficulty gone. Except husband cooked Brussels sprouts which I struggled to eat (usually lovely then). Question: I know steroids

Hello, I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma in Jan 2022 and since then have tried various inhalers. I’m currently on Luforbec using the MART regime, so twice a day as standard and then when needed before exercise. I’ve also been taking Montelukast for the last six months. However my asthma still

Covid Strikes Again!
I had my second bout of covid just last week. However this time I was mentally ready. My immune systems in tip top shape with the now very healthy diet I eat, full of vitamins and minerals that my body needs. It was mild, with me having a mild temperature for a day and a runny nose for a week. One

Home at last!
After 2 months (!) in hospital I finally got home on Friday. My hands were very stiff one day, the next I couldn't move them at all. That was very scary. They decided I had a virus, which took a week to get over, then I caught another - I had high temperature and a very phlegmy chest. They also put

update: Zanabrutinib vs Obenven (O&V)
We are praying for Gods wisdom (James1:5), and we’re leaning toward the Zanabrutinib. The infusions and time and distance will be impactful to my husbands work and he’s prefer to go the simpler route. We learned he’s still 13Q and TP53 negative and his lymph nodes are reduced (we have used ALT for

thrush in mouth
I have had antibiotics lately and have thrush in my mouth. I have been prescribed Nystan to take 4 times a day. The nurse /practioner said also rinse my mouth after using my steroid inhaler. The problem is do I rinse and spit or rinse and swallow? Swallowing is so much easier

Having escaped Covid over the last few years, I did a test yesterday as I felt fluey and coldy. It was positive. I have had seven vaccinations! Couldn't believe it! Was convinced it was a false positive. Anyway, went to the emergency oncology service, was retested and confirmed I had Covid and Rhinovirus

post Viral symptoms
I returned from Australia with a heavy cold and painful cough. I have been confined to bed mostly for 2 weeks and really quite ill. A man coughed throughout our flight, this could be the source although my grandchildren were ill too. No sooner did I feel this virus improve it seemed to gain more impetus
