I have been recovering well from NSTEMI in July. Returned to work 2nd Jan then came down with covid, which has left me very congested, I managed to do a 6.5 walk before I knew it was covid as thought was just a bad cold (that’s was 3 weeks ago). Anyway since last week I started to notice that I become very breathless when walking and feel very uncomfortable in the upper chest area, it feels like when you have been running and are totally out of breath and you are breathing in really cold air. I put this down to really cold weather but it started to feel the same when walking around (fast) with my grandaughter indoors last weekend. I visited gp on Monday said I was concerned due to my heart issue. I have a cough still where I get coughing fits. Docs said chest is clear but sent me fir X-ray which was clear, spoken to another GP as again there didnt seem to be an explaination for breathlessness I said I was worried it coukd be my heart. I have noticed that my Fitbit has recorded 200 bpm just from walking (didn’t tell docs). Doc doesn’t seem worried even though I said I literally can ‘t walk very far for no apparent reason I am really worried am due to fly out to Rome for our first holiday since HA and I dint think I will be able to do anything. Btw once I am indoors I recover quickly and feel ok. Any advice? GP doesn’t seem to have taken me seriously.
