Having escaped Covid over the last few years, I did a test yesterday as I felt fluey and coldy. It was positive. I have had seven vaccinations! Couldn't believe it! Was convinced it was a false positive. Anyway, went to the emergency oncology service, was retested and confirmed I had Covid and Rhinovirus (of which I had never heard before!) Was prescribed Lagevrio. I am on V and O regime. I have finished the infusions and am just taking the tablets now. Has anyone else taken Lagevrio?

Our local hospital has locked down again. No visitors. Mandatory mask wearing everywhere.

Lagevrio is probably better known here as Molnupiravir, for which we have 58 posts:

Thanks Jammin_Me. I was pleased to see that the hospital was responding to the outbreak. What I wasn't expecting was to go down with Covid myself. I have been and am so careful.

I am so sorry Covid found you. It seems to be ramping up again. I am happy to say health centers where I live are now requiring masks again and I am so grateful.

I hope you recover quickly and don’t suffer too much.

Thank you Cycle Wonder for your good wishes. I agree with you about mask wearing. My GP's surgery never removed the mask wearing requirement and continued to provide masks on entry. You would think it would be standard practice!

So sorry, sure hope it’s uncomplicated & quickly resolved!!! I am very careful too & just caught it once when my son lived with me in 2021. I take all the precautions & haven’t had any vaccines tho. Adjusting to this BTKI Therapy has been all I could deal with. 3 ER Visits in 3 months was dreadful. I am finally stabilizing after 8 months on only 1/2 dose of Zanubritinib now. I just resumed my exercise regimen over the last 2 weeks after being benched for 8 months & gaining 30lbs🤦🏽‍♀️ I am actually now feeling some optical issues, never ending ish. Yes numbers are great 👍🏾

Thank you for your good wishes, Coach Vera 55. I went to the pool for the first time since diagnosis but I think I actually got it from a family member who had unknowingly contracted it.

Not sure what blended immunity means exactly. It isn't a term I have heard before.
