Has anyone considered a gastric balloon?
Has anyone considered a gastric balloon? My weight has remained the same for the last 6 months and I can not shift anymore. I would love to know people's opinions. I have been looking at a few clinics but scared to make the next move.

Trust me-I'm a patient
This time last year I presented at A&E with chest pains and was in the Resuscitation Unit for 5 hours At the time I was on no medication though the surgery had already picked up on an irregular heart beat and 2 years earlier I had had an echo cardiogram The hospital prescribed Bisoprolol 7.5 mg betablockers

Complex stenting
Hi Has anyone on this forum had complex stents done which means 4x stents at the main Y branch at the lad. Normally these 3 blockages is repaired by doing bypass surgery. They done stents on me and I've had nothing but issues. I would just like to know if anyone out there has had the same procedure

Gastric bypass and prostate cancer. May 22 2019.
I wonder if anyone has heard of anybody having
gastric
bypass
while being treated for prostate cancer. The actual surgury is concerning considering its major, as was my rad prostate. I have recently lost 24 lbs although i have plateaued and gained water back and lost back and forth.

Shortness of breath and mild chest pain. Thought I had got angina so I was sent for tests everything came back normal. However about12 months ago my hubby went in hospital for a heart bypass and new valve I was so stressed out with worry about him he was in for two months I would not have thought it

3 month post CABG bloodwork is....odd.
45 year old male. Obviously I'll be discussing this with my cardiologist but I figured I'd share these numbers and get some thoughts. First was 4/9 of this year pre-CABG. Second number was yesterday. Total- 137 - 135 LDL- 80 to 70 HDL- 37.3 to 38.2 (this is a bugger) Triglycerides- 98 to 135

Feeling long gone..... 🖤
I looked into getting
gastric
bypass
a little over a month ago. It’s the only thing I feel can save me at this point. I am waiting for the call. This is the last strand of hope that I have for myself. It truly is and it is very thin. Has anyone on here ever had it? Can you share your experiences.

hello everyone
what a great place this is. to have people to talk to and ask questions is great. I recently had my 5th angiogram as I still feel so unwell to be told that everything looks good.... my family think all I have to do is stay positive and get fit lol. its so difficult to explain to them that I feel so unwell

How to reduce LDL further - followed all the normal advice
About a year ago, I had my cholesterol checked and the results weren't great. Apart from the normal tests I also had my Lipoprotein A checked and it was worryingly high at 79. I wasn't completely surprised as my father had major bypass surgery and my mother a series of strokes. I had noticed some tightness

First CABG
I’m seeing conflicting information about the history of CABG. Really all I want know I guess is how old a procedure is it. Seems like it can’t bd attributed to the work of 1 surgeon.
