Hi Keith. When we went to America a good few years back, I had the same sort of problem. Not a Bypass, but I have got Heart Problems. Ended up going with the Co-op Travel Insurance. They were excellent and even sent a Rep to the House for the 'personal touch'. Wasn't that expensive either! Whatever you do though and with whatever Company, always read the 'Small Print'! Best of Luck 😊
Hi
The last couple of times going to Florida I used Post Office they were very reasonable and although, thankfully I did not need them, the cover looked good
All Clear are brilliant. As long as you are more than 6 weeks post op, they will cover you. I have cover for my AVR and bypass along with a host of other conditions and have used them for several years, even pre-surgery.
If you bank with Barclays, it may be worth having a talk with them about their Travel Pack.
Hi I've recently got travel insurance following cardiac arrest in September. We went with Avanti but do shop around as they all give different rates - good luck
It is very good time to travel with my clients at world best wonderful places. As a wedding travel agent in Houston I have visited numerous places to see the wonders of this world.
Your best Regards

Best deal I found, was with Unite the trade union it was half the price of stay sure even with the stay sure discount codes, it sure pays to shop around, The main thing is to not miss out any previous medical issues or treatments as that's were they catch you out, for not declaring everything when you sign up.
Hi, had stents 7 months ago. Last week I got an annual policy with Staysure (comprehensive cover), very pleased with price & cover given. Shop around, most of us have varying combinations of conditions to declare. For me, the cheaper policies I found didn't meet my own minimum cover requirements.
