PPC - back on the merry go round
Hi all. I haven't posted in a while but always use the site on a regular basis to give me hope and information so thank you ladies. My biggest fear was whether I would recognise the symptons and know if my cancer was back. Unfortunately this has been proven - the beast is back and although I did spot

Can you recommend top breast cancer specialists in the UK?
Hi there, my best friend's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 weeks ago. They found 2 lumps in one breast, both grade 1, and she has been recommended a mastectomy ASAP. She knows she needs to decide on treatment plan soon (this week) but is in shock and wants to know about all her options both

I feel so much for you with regards to the heat. I can only agree with you the vasculitis does get worse. I have to manage it by using electric fans I have one on in the lounge during the day and I have another in the bedroom at night. There are many draw backs but some nights I have to change the sheets

Too many things going on. Need that mojo back - and some luck (good preferably)
Hi all. Not posted for a while but thought it's about time I got things off my chest. I have - up until a few months ago - been doing 3 X 10k runs a week. Then, back in early December, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, she has had a mastectomy and is undergoing chemo. Runs

Breast cancer, radiotherapy and fibromyalgia
Yesterday it was confirmed that I have breast cancer and need a mastectomy which will be done on the 13th May. However, the doctors are not too sure about how the radiotherapy that will follow will react with my fibromyalgia. Please can anyone tell me about their experience of this. Thank you.

Levothyroxine & breast cancer.
Iv`e read on the internet that Women who take Levothyroxine have a 200 percent increased risk of breast cancer. I don`t know what to make of this, & now I`m very scared! Should I stop taking my Levo, or consider having a double mastectomy?

Hand and arm swelling
After a mastectomy and lymph node removal in June 2014 I've developed lymphoedema in my hand and arm. I finished radio therapy at the end of nov 2014. My Lymphoedema nurse has prescribed garments which I wear religiously. She has told me that we now need to give things three months to settle down. I
