Got my appointment

Got my ENT appointment for next Tuesday, 15th April. No results back from X-ray yet. Cooker now working properly, the gas was too fierce and I was burning everything, a bit of a manufacturers design fault.

Nearly due my 3 month badge, hard to believe, time goes so fast. You have all been so chatty today taken me a while to catch up.

OOOh good luck for ENT hun. Pleased you got your cooker fixed, I can burn a pan of water, and doubt i could blame my cooker x

Nice to meet you and well done for nearly reaching 3 months.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but is your ENT appointment linked to your decision to quit? I only ask because I have otosclerosis and hoping to have an operation later this year. Although there are many reasons not to smoke this is the one that is driving me the most. I mean it's a no brainer really.... smoke cigarettes or hear the birds sing!

About a month after I stopped I developed a hoarseness in my throat which has not got any better, in fact has got worse. I have had some tests but no results yet next stop is the ENT Consultant.

It's great to hear you got your appointment with ENT and I'm impressed how quickly it came through! So good luck next Tuesday and please let us know how it went. I bet this was because of the stress of giving up smoking and will stop in its own time, but at least you'll find that out and can concentrate on continuing this journey!

And what a journey - nearly 3 months - for goodness sake that's FANTASTIC! When is your anniversary because I want to do a happy dance for that!

Had my last cigarette on 12th January. We are very lucky in this part of the Country I have never had to wait very long for a hospital referral. Hopefully I will be doing the happy dance with you.

I know you've had your struggles at times, just like most of us I guess, but you have come through it and made this AMAZING achievement! Massive Congratulations KC!!!

So get your dancing shoes and your bum wiggle pants on, because we are going to do a celebration bum wiggle dance tonight - Pete has got a new cd for us to dance to and everything (I think he's been practicing too!)

Be Proud of yourself - you absolutely deserve it!
