combining standard PCA care with alternative care
In a three month period my PSA went from 58 to 70. Obviously my testosterone was producing more new cancer cells than my alternative treatment. I started the combination treatment on Dec 1 by taking 2 ORGOVYX. Dec 15 my PSA is 27.5 and I will take one more ORGOVYX today hoping to reduce PSA to 10

PSA on the rise
Good morning everyone, my PSA has been undectable, {<.01} since July 2022. Not real long, but it has been a good time. Felt good, no pain, can look on my profile for more details. I am on Xtandi and Lupron--(3 months). (I had taxetere in 2021) I get my PSA checked every three months right before

PSA post Salvage Radiation
Prior post: My husband, at diagnosis had 3+4 on a couple of samples and chose to have surgery. He had clean margins and reached undetectable PSA after Prostatectomy. Near the end of 5th year after surgery his PSA became detectable. He did salvage radiation at .09 PSA. His PSA went down to .08 after

Do I need 6th Pluvicto infusion? PSA undetectable for 6 months.
I've been on the PSMAddition trial having had 5 of 6th infusions. PSA undetectable (<0.02) since June (it was 0.31 in early May when accepted into trial with relatively low burden PSMA-avid lesions). Aug 4 CT/bone scans showed significant reductions in size and activity of lesions (prior to 3rd treatment

Quick follow up to PSA Bounce
RO called today and told me not to be concerned that my 1st PSA was 12 after original was 9 in March. He said that there are likely a few reasons. - remaing inflammation in prostate from treatment (I was tested 58 days after completing SBRT) -possible mild prostatitis -possible infection He said

ideal biochemistry monitoring
question: I know that there are protols for regular blood PSA and sometimes Testosterone when on SOC following RT and during the 2-3 years ADT (with localised high risk G9-10). My excellent ONC does a full biochemistry every 3 months with a face to face meeting which is great, but I will have to

What next after Docetaxel...?
On 4/19/23 I was seen by the trial MO to confirm the previous recommendation of 10 sessions of of Docetaxel after the new liquid biopsy confirmed the first one with no mutations. Meanwhile, the PSA has risen to 115 before a kidney issue and to about 350 just before Chemo. On 12/06/2023, after 9 sessions

PSA Numbers and 3rd Round of Docetaxel
Hi all - so first an update. Had 3rd chemo session out of 6 yesterday and at least in my experience things are going really well all things considered. Lost hair on balls first then finally head and facial but elsewhere it is good. No issues with hand or feets. No nausea or fatigue. In fact I had

PSA in lower range, yet PSMA PET SCAN shows diffuse bone Metastasis
Dear all , my father latest Total PSA level shows 6.24 which is down after touching 10.45. He was given one infusion of Docetaxel, however, he has been weaned off due to adverse reactions he has had, as his overall condition worsened and he had lot of prolonged mouth sores, with WBCs touching .08 and

Hello to everyone! I am concerned daughter of 76 years old father, looking for help. He was diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma, grade group 3, Gleason 4+3=7 in August this year. Now what? Second go-around of docetaxel not responding.
I am 65 years old and was Diagnosed 8 years ago with stage 4 PC. Metastasis to hips, pelvis, ribs and many lymph nodes. Took 6 rounds of docetaxel followed by ongoing Lupron injections and then 3 years of Zytiga. PSA was driven down to 2.0 from 76 with 1st 6 rounds of docetaxel. Zytiga drove PSA down

ART mpMRI Accuracy Detecting Serious PCa Revised Criteria for Biopsy
231211 ART mpMRI Accuracy Detecting Serious PCa Revised Criteria for Biopsy I am a big proponent for use of a mpMRI during AS (active surveillance). I also believe it has a place in the routine monitoring of PCa in men who have not been diagnosed with PCa. I had PSA’s well below 4.0 and neither
