Update Castrate Resistant Metastatic Cancer

My metastatic prostate cancer was diagnosed castrate resistant on November 1 with PSA of 0.8, which was doubling in about two months while on Lupron. On November 10 I started Abiraterone + prednisone. By December 1 my PSA dropped to 0.44 in 22 days on Abiraterone. In the next 35 days it went down to 0.34 today. That is the drop has slowed down somewhat, in the first 22 days a drop by about 50% in the next 35 days a drop by about 25%.

I am having serious pins and needle in a left foot toe, which appears like bee sting. My MO doesn't think it is a side effect from Abiraterone. While some men on this site have reported as side effects from Zytiga (Abiraterone). What should I think.

May be a crazy answer but— Could it be gout? My husband takes meds every day for that. Very painful toe pain when having a gout attack.

I have been on Zytiga for 2 years and have not experienced that side effect. My SEs are cough, insomnia, arrhythmias (PVC) fatigue.

I have gout and i do not believe it is gout. Gout never gave me pins & needles just significant pain & swelling in the joint.

I also have peripheral neuropathy. Sound like it could be the start of that.
