Vitamin D3??
After reading an article about how taking Vitamin D3 had irradicated a woman's IBS -D symptoms, I was wondering if anyone else has tried this and it has helped them? I also have an underactive thyroid which can also make you Vit D deficient. I am getting so desperate that I am willing to try anything

Vitamin D deficiency
My specialist tested my Vitamin D2 and D3 levels recently and has contacted me to inform me that my D2 level is <10 and Vitamin D3 level is 24ng. I understand that both of these figures are very low, from what he said and he is prescribing me Pro-D3 capsules of 20,000 units three days a week, for four

I have recently had my blood works done and got the following results Vitamin D3 - 21.4nmol/L Serum Calcium - 2.60mmol/L Calcium adjusted level - 2.63mmol/L TSH and Free T4 Levels came back within range Is it normal to have high calcium and low D3? Could this mean I need to have my Parathyroid checked

Sun, Fatigue, Rash
It's just starting to get nice here in New Jersey. We have had a few days that have reached the 60's and 70's -- and hooray we won't be seeing snow again for at least five months. The issue is that for many of us we have Raynaud's in our fingers and toes when it's cold outside and then when it gets

Free Prescriptions for Asthmatics?
Am I the only one who is uncertain as to why asthma isn't an exclusion criterion for prescription charge payment? I guess I shouldn't be complaining just yet as I still fit neatly in the middle of the bracket that says, '16, 17 or 18 and in full-time education', so I don't pay anyway. But when I get

PMR and Vitamin D and/or D3 deficiency
I am new to this site. So glad to have found it. I am interested to know if any sufferers of PMR have been diagnosed, or think they might have, a Vitamin D or more specifically, vitamin D3 deficiency. I was diagnosed with PMR in 2012 and thought I had beaten it in 2014 but have been in a lot of pain

Interpretaion of results and how to improve levels
Please would anyone advise where to go from here, as far as supplements to improve results, and what is missing from the results. I have an underactive thyroid, and after seeing the NHS Endo's registrar and complaining of tiredness and weight gain, she ageed to do further tests. She wrote on the pathology
