Infertility and Grief - Double Whammy
Hey everyone. I’ve been struggling lately. In the beginning the stims were okay. It was a new experience and I was seeing the results. It was pretty exciting really. Now that it’s time for my FET (on Thursday), I’m getting really anxious. I started estradiol and found that made me moody and a little

Embryo transfer low ovarian reserve
Hello I hope everyone is well - I’m looking for some insight on what is required for embryo transfer? Do they monitor your cycle wait for you to ovulate then do the transfer? Or is there medication need to be taken leading up to it? I have very low ovarian reserve my 3rd period after egg collection

Brown clots and bleeding
I already in my heart know the answer to this question, but I will ask anyway. I had a 3 day embryo transfer 9 days ago and have woken up this morning to some light bleeding. I have since then passed some large brown clots whilst using the bathroom. Obviously I know the ivf has been unsuccessful. Does

Fet cycle high oestrogen
Hi everyone. So I'm in the run up to an FET and had my baseline scan and bloods on Thursday. Turns out I have a 1.8mm cyst and bloods show very high oestrogen. They are keeping me on my down reg for another 2 weeks and then will test again to see if I can continue this cycle. My fresh transfer was cancelled

Transfer 1 or 2 embryos? Advice or experience
Hi So I am on my 7th attempt I have 2 frozen embryos left and wondering whether to transfer 1 or 2. They are different grades and this is our last 2 as we won’t be going through any more cycles after this. I know at our last fet the embryology team said it increases chances by 10%. Just don’t know what

Success stories please!
Just any really. We are in the 2ww with donor eggs and my 5th transfer but first FET. Feeling pretty low today and hopeless. Our embryo is a 4aa and PGT-A tested but I still feel so so scared. I’m going back to work tomorrow which I think will really help - too much time to think at the mo!

TWW craziness slowly creeping in 😂
Today I'm 7dp5dt - my 4th transfer and first FET. No real question just more a general chat with like minded people! I've managed to keep pretty busy which is good but of course still papping my pants every day. Its very different to any other tww as in I have very little "symptoms" - I know from experience

Making decisions about embryo transfer
f you're having IVF/ICSI, Fertility Network UK has a webinar coming up to help you understand more about how decisions are made about how many embryos to transfer. Do you want to know more about how doctors and embryologists make decisions about this, what the guidance is and who makes the decisions

3rd miscarriage: Trisomy 15
Hi ladies, I hope you all are well! As you know I had 3 miscarriages (one natural, one after my first fresh transfer and one after my first FET, both transfers on NHS). With the first miscarriage we did not have the tissue testes as “it’s happens”. With the second miscarriage we had it tested and it

FET lining not thick enough?
Hello, I went for my scan today pre-FET and my lining is still at 6.5cm despite being that 1 week ago and upping the estrogen dose between now and then. I have been on estrogen for 3 weeks now and so they don’t think another week will change anything. The doctor said the structure all looks good and

Has anyone had an endometrial scratch more than a few times?
Hi all, I’ve had 4 endometrial scratches in total. I had it done in: July 2020 (FET, cancelled transfer), September 2020 (FET, chemical pregnancy), February 2021 (FET, 24 week loss). February 2022 (fresh transfer, possible chemical/bfn). Prior to the scratch, I had two fresh transfers and they were

FET - embryo downgraded at transfer?
Hello :) We had our first fet today. We have three Frosties that were 5aa’s when frozen. Today after thawing we were told that it was a 3bb at the time of transfer but might plump out a bit. Is this normal for a fet? Thanks :)

ERA/EMMA/ALICE
Hello, I was hoping anyone could answer this please. I’ve just had ERA/EMMA/ALICE done and waiting for the results. I wanted to know if I do have chronic endometritis and I am treated if that would potentially change my era results ? Also if I have a different protocol for my FET would change change

2nd failed FET with donor eggs.
I am hoping someone can give me advice on what tests my doctor should run to find out why both my FET ended in chemical pregnancies. I only have one frozen embryo left so it’s a lot of pressure to figure this out. I do Accupuncture, meditation yoga and eat a balanced diet. I appreciate any advice as I

I've never given up hope so quickly! 😔🤦♀️
Note to self... never schedule transfers on bank holiday weekends 😒 I had a progesterone test on transfer day and here lies the problem: 'On transfer date' turned out to be too late! I should have asked for it a day or 2 before my FET as the results never come in the same day with my clinic. But this

Progesterone pessary no lubion
Hi everyone, I'm just getting prepared for 3rd FET transfer on Tuesday. I'm on the progesterone pessaries only. My Day 3 progesterone levels came back at 38 (should be between 30 to 40). I've been told to continue pessaries and to take lubion if I want to. I was wondering if anyone else only used progesterone
