FET protocol

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has been on this protocol for a FET:

Buserelin injections from day 1 of cycle

Oestrogen tablets 4x a day from day 5

Progesterone pessaries before transfer (think that's standard)

I'm not questioning the protocol itself as of course the clinic are experts, but just wondering why it may be different to what seems like the normal from what I've seen online? Anyone been on this and had success?

Hi, sounds pretty similar to what I have done in the past. There’s so many variations on protocol I wouldn’t worry. I have definitely learnt to go with it. They want the best outcome for you too.x Good luck.x

Hi,Which bit are you not sure of? My understanding is the Buserelin is a down reg med, which helps them control the cycle. I've had 4 x oestrogen tablets before. This time I was on 2 a day, but they increased to 3 after my 8 day scan. Progesterone 5 days pre transfer is pretty normal.
