Symbicort or Fostair?
I’ve got COPD and asthma and felt Symbicort wasn’t as effective so the respiratory nurse switched me to
Fostair
. Not sure about it and I dislike the feel of the powder on my tongue despite the fact my inhaling technique is fine. Should be after 20 years! Thanks for any advice or help.

General Anaesthetic makes asthma symptoms worse?
I have been using
Fostair
200 and it's been really good - apart from a few side effects like racing heart, red face etc. which have pretty much gone now. It got rid of my cough/wheeze almost completely.

Fostair 200/6
Just wondered if anyone here using
Fostair
has hot red face as a side effect? Like a hot flush. May be it's brought on by an increase in heart rate.

Is Fostair causing extreme fatigue and aching all over my body.
My asthma nurse decided to change me to
Fostair
from seretide about 2 months ago following three really bad chest infections.

Fostair 100/6
I was diagnosed with Asthma in December and have had a pretty tough ride until April, been on a variety of different inhalers and finally stuck with
Fostair
200/6. Then got referred to a consultant who has put me on
Fostair
100/6 MART.

Dyspnea when at rest?
It seemed to start after my spirometry test where I was advised to take
fostair
4 times per day I.e. twice morning and night. Wondering if it's the
fostair
potentially? Hope everyone is well 👍

Breathing dip
Since then I've upped my
Fostair
to the max 8 puffs for the last 2 days and my breathing is definitely getting a lot better. However it's not great yet and I'm getting tiny flecks of phlegm. I'm off abroad on Friday otherwise I wouldn't be too bothered.

Fostair 200 Dummy...
Following a CT scan, in May this year, I was diagnosed with Late Onset Asthma (very late - as I’m 73 years old...LOl). After an initial bombardment of Prednisone, Qvar 100 and Salbutamol, things eased a little however, the breathlessness, persistent tight band around the rib cage along with a little

Hi All Fostair users
I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not getting the best of my 100/6
Fostair
as it "runs" out. Its down to 36 puffs left and beginning to suffer a little. For quite a few months I've suspected that I'm not getting the full dose as the numbers go down. Has anyone else jad this experienced this?

fostair
200/6, incruse 55, montekukast, ventolin prn and 40mg pred daily. Just got to wait for clinic appt now and manage symptoms as best I can. Thank you all so much for the support on here. It means a lot having somewhere to come and ask stupid questions ☺.

Cold and flu season
I use my preventative inhaler as my relief inhaler (
fostair
) because it's a combination inhaler and the blue inhaler doesn't work for me. My peak flow has dropped from a personal best of 360 to around 290/300. Thanks for your help.

My asthma nurse has changed me to
Fostair
, saying it's very good, the particles are smaller and the majority that have gone on to
Fostair
have been really pleased with the results. Would be really interested to hear any comments.

Intercostal muscle pain with asthma symptoms
I was recently put on salmeterol that’s on top of my
fostair

ACOS and mart regime
For a while now I have been on
Fostair
100/6. It's ok but doesn't seem to last the full 12 hours and sometimes I notice a definite dip in my breathing just after taking it.

Fostair and low Potassium levels and high Blood Pressure
Has anyone had low Potassium levels and high Blood Pressure whilst they are taking
Fostair
, it’s controlling my Asthma well, but latest results on Friday might suggest that it is causing another problem. I’ll probably get a call from the surgery on Monday, but has anyone had any experience of this?

Possible Flare up?
Does this mean the
Fostair
stopped working and if so, do I need to get a different preventer? Why would it suddenly stop working? It may be I have some sort of cold coming on that is always a trigger, but I don't yet feel I have a cold. I'm puzzled.
