I have been on Incurse Ellipta for over 2 years I also have Relvar Elipta too. And find them really good. With the Ellipta inhalers when you take it you have to take a beep breathe in. For it to work properly .
I took Relvar Elipta, but for asthma, for about a year&seemed ok until I got blue lighted with sirens from my surgery with a really severe asthma attack back in March.I was in hospital for 11 days and now my meds are changed. Although the words brittle or severe asthma keep hanging around for myself.
My dad has copd and was taking it too, and seemed to get more breathless with it.
I really think it's an individual thing though! Give a try&if it's not working for you,go back and see your doctor!! Think it can take a while to find the right concoction.
Hi, I'm presently waiting for my new prescription of Ellipta instead of Spiolta Respimat. Changed by my Respiratory nurse. I suppose it's trial and error. Best to give it time to work, if not go back to your GP.
I’ve been on Incruse Ellipta for a couple of years and Ventolin (when needed). No problems - just couldn’t run for a bus!!! (Or even a gentle trot lol). I’m sure you’ll find the one that suits you.
Hi there inhalers are a problem especially when new ones come out and old ones get taken off the list. I found the best one for me was Combivent but it was taken off for prescribing other than in hospital. Recently I was asked to try a new one and ended up in hospital . It is very much trying and testing for best results , sometimes dosage is what matters most. I have been on seretide 500 and spirava with ventolin for around 7 years now and it still does not totally control the symptoms. But gives best outcome for me, so keep trying if not working for you go back to nurse or doctor. Good luck
i was given this first off but had issues with it,causing throat soreness so i was taken off and given a braltus instead, after coming off ellipta, around 2 to 3 days i noticed an improvement and up to yet no problems with braltus, and along with my other devices,it seems as though at the moment ive got a good, stable combination of devices to help with my copd,if you feel its not helping, have a word with your respiratory nurse etc,im sure they'll work with you to find and get the best combination of treatment to make things better for you, best wishes... fenty.
