Winter blues
I have had asthma for many years and at present, I am on
Fostair
and Ventolin. I get through the spring and summer ok, but This time of the year when the weather gets damp, my asthma is much worse. I get a terrible cough that goes on and on and my breathing becomes much worse.

Alternatives to fostair?
Hello I seem to be having quite a few side effects from
Fostair
100/6 which I take two puffs twice a day using spacer. As well as the hand tremor I seem to have a feeling of restlessness, and a recent blood test showed low potassium (waiting for results of repeat blood test).

Ventolin
Tried
Fostair
some time ago but went downhill with that. The reason I ended up with a respimat was because I was unable to inhale the dry powder capsules. I use a spacer device with everything possible. Had a heart thingy to wear for 24 hours and am now on Bisoprol Fumerate, beta blockers.

Brittle asthma
My consultant has added spiriva respimat in with my
fostair
(I am also on fexo and montelukast) and I now have a nebuliser for salbutamol. I'm finding it really difficult to know how to handle it.

Fostair reduced from 200 to 100😕
Fostair
reduced from 200/6 to 100/6 by the new GP and new asthma nurse, stating to be able to adjust it for when I catch a. old. No problems so far or admissions to hopsital but I’m on Foastair for the 5 years and it worked so well, now I’m worried because I feel like having heavy chest.

Ultibro - anyone else been prescribed this?
All these ‘lovely’ things also came with
Fostair
which I stopped taking back in April. So fed up with it.

Eosinophilic asthma
I have eosinophilic asthma (diagnosed in May 2019) I have a brilliant consultant who has got it all under control with a cocktail of medication (
fostair
200, montelukast, omeprezole, dymista etc) which I take religiously! My fear is that ‘will I have a flare up?’

Fostair and weight gain
Hello, I’ve just changed from Symbicort to
Fostair
as I felt the Symbicort wasn’t helping as much as it used to. Has anyone on
Fostair
noticed weight gain? It’s one of the side effects which I’ve never seen on an inhaler before. Any advice gratefully received.

Seretide/Fostair
When I was first ill the asthma nurse changed me from seretide 250 to
fostair
106 and the consultant upped it to 206. I was wondering if maybe the
fostair
is not working for me? Have many people found that they were better on seretide?
