Feeling like ground hog year! (I do have a question...)
After 2nd A&E visit (after yet another cold) I was put on
Fostair
which has helped but once September arrived I got yet another cold and December started the last three.

Cold virus and amber peak flow: should I call nurse?
I have been taking my
Fostair
100/6 2 puffs twice a day. My PEF has been in the top half of the amber and I also have asthma symptoms, but not an emergency asthma attack. Almost two weeks ago, I had an attack where I should have called an ambulance.

Still wheezy
I’m on
Fostair
200/6 and still struggling but my GP was reluctant to give me that. I was only diagnosed with Asthma 4 months ago and it’s not got under control yet. Any ideas what I can do to help myself, or what I should be asking from the doctor please?

Annoying Whistle.
As the inhalers (
Fostair
& Ventolin) don't get rid of it. I noticed when taking
Fostair
200 without a spacer and it was "hitting" my throat more, the wheeze would go temporarily. Anyone else have/had this? I'm also on Fexofenadine for allergies.

Steroids through a nebuliser
Hey, At my last consultants apt a couple of weeks ago I was given steroids to have through my nebuliser twice a day (in addition to
fostair
, qvar and oral steroids) he said whilst I was there I may as well have the salbutamol and ipatropium at those times as well (instead of using them as needed).

26 and asthma back
Today is my first day of using
fostair
and I'm hoping to god this does the trick. It seems to be working so far, but I feel a little bit wheezy now. How long did it take for people for
fostair
to improve their symtpoms? I just want this to be controlled so I can stop my constant state of worry.

New to Fostair
Hello I am currently taking 2 puffs twice a day through a spacer, my hands start trembling within 2 mins and this is noticeable for at least a couple of hours. Does anyone else experience this and does it get better? Thanks

Hi, Today My GP agreed to let me try a
Fostair
inhaler instead of Seretide, which I suspect isn't doing me any good. I've to let him know how it is after two weeks. The Chemist wants to know after a week. Hope it is better. Has anyone done this and found any difference?. Cheers.😀

My husband has been switched from symbicort 200/6 to
Fostair
to try to limit the side effects of the inhaler with the hydrocortisone he is taking for the adrenal insufficiency brought on by the interaction of the Itraconazole and the Symbicort.

How long for short burst prednisone to be fully effective?
I'm still taking 12+ puffs of reliever a day, plus 2x2 puffs of
Fostair
(which I was prescribed on Tuesday). Until recently, I wasn't needing my reliever at all.
