GP visit update

Hi all, me again.

Well, I went to see my GP this morning after my 2 hospital visits last week.

Apparently, the doctor who looked after me in AEC on Saturday has diagnosed me with severe brittle asthma? At least that is what he has put on the discharge report to the GP.

So, I guess it's good that I know what type of asthma I have and why it is being so unstable at the minute.

It was a positive consult with the GP. He is faxing a letter to the severe asthma clinic today to expedite a follow up appt in clinic and he has agreed to provide px for home nebuliser meds for me too 🙂. He's given me a follow up GP appt for 2 weeks and a note to stay off work. I am to carry on with my fostair 200/6, incruse 55, montekukast, ventolin prn and 40mg pred daily.

Just got to wait for clinic appt now and manage symptoms as best I can.

Thank you all so much for the support on here. It means a lot having somewhere to come and ask stupid questions ☺.
