Ibs
Before leaving I was advised to follow the
fodmap
diet, and have gluten free and lactose free products. This is a lot easier to do in Australia than at home, everything is gluten free! And they sell
fodmap
products in the supermarket.

Looking for Help
A year and a half ago I went on the low
FODMAP
diet which definitely helped symptoms of bloating, stomach pain and constipation.

Thanks to
FODMAP
and (at last) effective medication I am very Much better than I used to be. However I still get the occasional Flare-up, like today. My question is does anyone know of an Effective painkiller to take for pretty severe abdominal pain?

Anyone tried samphire?
Just had some for my tea, saw it in tesco and I'm looking for new veg to try as I keep having nasty digestive reaction to high
fodmap
veg which cuts out most of the green ones. I'm guessing it's some sort of seaweed, and it was delicious steamed, had it with baked salmon and a jacket sweet potato.

Travelling with Ibs
Before I left home I was trying the
FODMAP
diet and it did seem to be helping, eased the bloatedness and the pain, however I am finding it hard to follow this while travelling. Does anyone have any tips on how to try and stick to this diet while travelling? Thanks

Getting diagnosed CD.
Anyway after a year of suffering big time (headaches, fevers, sickness & diarrhoea & the worst cramps ever) we decided to do the
FODMAP
& Matt rapidly improved. We put back into his diet 1 thing at a time & narrowed it down to gluten/wheat that was the issue.

IBS c - desperate
It is debilitating, I have 2 small biys who needs their active mommy back :( I have been on low
fodmap
, gluten free, lactose free, carb free diet since December but no help. I recently found the website of Dr. Rostenberg - the 10 day gut repair.

The big BLOAT! My top 10 hit list..
Try the
FODMAP
Diet A harder one to master but useful if you've tried many other pointers and had no luck. Ask your coeliac clinic or GP for a referral to a dietitian that is an expert in this.
