Anxiety induced IBS? Help
I semi started the
Fodmap
but bowel movements were actually normal a few days before it. So my question is could my IBS-D be all stress and anxiety linked?! Good and bad if it is I suppose but just not sure. Any ideas evedyone?

Hemorrhoids or fissure or pudendal Nueralgia?
Recently got SIBO(small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) & am on
FODMAP
Diet & took Xifaxin several times. The breath test showsed positive for SIBO originally. I'm doing better with digestion, but now have a small hemorrhoid which my Rectal surgeon has repeatedly injected, but it's still there.

Gut-friendly Christmas recipes
Another Christmas recipe idea: Low
FODMAP
sprouts, courgette & pancetta. Is there any vegetable more crucial to the Christmas dinner than the humble (but unfortunately high
FODMAP
) Brussels sprout? Even those who dislike sprouts see it as vital that there should be sprouts on the table.

Unexplained pelvic pain
I've done the
fodmap
diet to check for IBS and yes, I definitely have a problem with dairy and possibly wheat but excluding these food groups have made no difference to my abdomen pain. I'm having a flare up right now, it's period time again. I've been awake most of the night in pain.

FODMAP advice?
My GP advised me to follow a
FODMAP
diet for my IBS, but I haven't been referred to a dietician or GI specialist. I have been following a thread about new NHS booklets re
FODMAP
, but can anyone advise me how to go about starting
FODMAP
elimination?

Trade off between bloat and constipation
I know low
fodmap
helps my bloating but when i go low
fodmap
the constipation comes back, even though i'm on Psyllium and a coffee every morning (which normally gets me going). It seems I can only get rid of one at a time? Any suggestions?

nervous stomach and gastritis (IBS?)
He did have no problem with the
Fodmap
diet when I told him I was trying it, and I don't know if that is stopping my gas and bloating and gastritis. Very confused. Thank you anyone for advice

Ibs has finally broke me!
She said I had methane based sibo and recomended I follow the bi-phasic diet, which is a combination of the specific carbohydrate diet and the low
fodmap
diet. it really is quite a torturous diet and I think this depressed me even more. she also suggested that I take atrantil which is supposed to kill

Sick & Tired of being Sick & Tired
I have had all tests (endoscopy, colonoscopy, ultrasound) all come back "fine" and I have been diagnosed with Post Infectious IBS and told to try the
FODMAP
diet - it doesn't work. I have tried Symprove and the Anti Candida diet.

Snack for IBS sufferers
The
FODMAP
diet does seem to help me, and I know it cannot be for the long-term but I wish there were more things on the market that catered to this diet.

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results"
Tried low
fodmap
, thought it was working, didn't really know how to manage it properly, still drinking alcohol/smoking far too much - loperamide still my absolute saviour at this point, taking them as and when needed. 3rd year again a mess, IBS got worse again.

IBS-friendly, low FODMAP breads
Can anyone recommend any IBS-friendly, low
FODMAP
bread that is generally available in UK supermarkets? Most breads that I see on the shelves are high fibre or have concentrated fruit juice (normally apple-based) in the ingredients.

Problems with "safe" cereals on low FODMAP diet
I've been following the low
FODMAP
diet strictly and found it really helps. However, I still experience problems (bloating and severe cramps) after eating corn, oats, buckwheat and gluten free pasta (corn and rice based), which are low
FODMAP
cereals.
