RLS link to bacterial overgrowth and leaky gut
I initially tried
fodmap
food exclusion diet with some success for my restless legs which would occasionally spread to whole body But the one that really worked was a more strict version of
fodmap
called sibo, by doctor siebecker.

What meds have helped ease your IBS?
I’ve also just started the low
fodmap
diet (strictly this time as I usually fall off the wagon!). It’s early days, I know but Ive been on it for 2 days and my symptoms are just the same!

Low fodmap
Has anyone found the LOW
FODMAP
diet helps with low digestion. I've been advised my constipation is likely to be due to low gut flora which as a result will cause my digestion to slow down. Has anyone had good results on bowel frequency and regularity on the
FODMAP
diet.

FODMAP DIET
I have started the low
FODMAP
diet. Does anyone on here know of any low
FODMAP
meals quick and easy to prepare, with working full time it’s hard to find the time to prepare nice meals! I’m determined to stick at this diet. As I can’t deal with the pain any longer.

Binge eating
I’ve been doing the
fodmap
diet for a while now and only binge eat on low
fodmap
foods but obviously my IBS isn’t getting better because I am binge eating!

Burning intestines
The
fodmap
diet has not worked for me. I live in constant pain. My intesttnes feel like they are on fire. My doctors seem to have no answers for me. Does anyone feel this same kind of pain?

FODMAP diet and lactose and gluten intolerances
I have been praising the benefits of the
FODMAP
diet but I have been overlooking a part of my history. I started on the diet path by choosing gluten free foods and this became a habit.

Peppermints?
My new Dr recommended the
FODMAP
diet, which I'm trying cautiously. Please can anyone recommend a brand of peppermints to calm my discomfort?

I’ve had some bad episodes last 6 months and I’ve now found the
FODMAP

Immunosuppressants causing SIBO
I have done some research and the advice was to follow a low
fodmap
diet, and potentially take a biotic called Symprove for 12 weeks. I'm sure in the future my medication will drop but I'm not sure if this is along term solution when it's being agrevated by medication which I can't change.

Enzyme pills?
The
fodmap
diet has worked for me and I believe onion, garlic and wheat/gluten are the main culprits so a pill like this would make eating out so much easier as nearly all foods contain one of the above.

Low FODMAP diet
I will definitely be buying a low
FODMAP
cookbook so that I know what I can make with the limited list of foods.

Eat plain? Low FODMAP? High Fat Low Carb? Veggie???? What diet changes have helped you with your IBS-D?
Should I go Low
FODMAP
? This seems to cut out so so many foods, that it will make eating really hard and living in China makes eating out and buying food to cook harder than it would be in the UK. Should I continue with intermittent fasting (yes as ive only been doing it a week!
