"All in my head"
Had an appointment with my gp today, when I asked for a repeat of my sickness meds he went on to tell me they are pretty heavy duty and anyway the nausea must all be in my head. Ive had constant nausea since the coil and its exact same as when I was pregnant, apparently same hormones too so makes sense

Bulky uterus, blocked with a cyst
Hi all, I had my lap last Tuesday and off until next week recovering. Sadly my doctor came to see me while I was still coming round (?!) and had to leave so I had a very muffled conversation over the phone that evening (while I was high on morphine) about what was found. He has always used “bulky uterus

Has my mire and coil stopped working
Hi, Haven't posted on here for some time, I don't think I have endo as Gyne won't do lap, but have got mirena coil in since 2015, and since last April have had monthly periods and recently have been getting heavier and extreme pelvic cramps. Could this mean the coil has stopped working

UTI symptoms but no infection?
Hi everyone, For the past few months now (maybe since around August/September) I've been getting some symptoms of a UTI, usually every 4 weeks, sometimes I can make it to 8, and normally around the same time of the month. I'm on the coil and don't get periods as such, but I'm sure this is when I would

IUD
I had my IUD inserted two weeks ago and now I have started bleeding. I’m not sure if this normal or I should go back to the clinic to have it checked out?

Possible PCOS
Hi all, I'm new to the community but have been reading through some posts, it's relieving to hear other people's experiences. I will try and keep my story as brief as possible. I'm 30 years old, always suffered with my periods being very heavy and irregular so had birth control for many years. Recently

Laparoscopy - no endo!
So I had my laparoscopy yesterday and I’m in pain but keeping on top of painkillers as much as I can. The gas pain comes and goes but I’m taking peppermint oil tablets to help with that. I have two incisions, one on my left and the belly button. I didn’t feel that bad when I came round, just tired!

Period after Prostap with Mirena?
I’ve had the Mirena coil in for 3 years and still had periods every few months if not every month (question 1 – has anybody else’s periods just continued on it?), last year I had 6, monthly Prostap injections with my last one being on the 8th of November. I feel so hormonal, emotional, sore boobs, discharge

Mirena coil messing with my moods and skin
For about two months I've been having severe mood swings and terrible skin (adult acne). This has never happened before, and I can only assume it's coil related. I had it fitted early July last year and at first it was perfect, little to no pain and no bleeding (occasional spotting). Now my skin has

Shunt checks
Hi guys, hope all is well x I’m sorry if this doesn’t sound very literate, my heads been rather fuzzy of late making me a bit all over the place! Well I’m happy to say that after over a month of intense headaches my gp has finally referred me to a neurologist... it always baffles me. I’ve had a shunt
