My coil comes out on 2nd May ready for me and my partner to start trying for a baby. Im worried that im not going to be able to get pregnant because i got endo even tho i had it removed but i still have the pain from it and i also have PCOS. Both cause fertility issues and just feel its going to be a long hard process as before i started contraception i use to have irregular periods and feel i wont have normal periods making it even harder for me to conceive. Im just wondering how long its taken others to get pregnant and if there was any issues with pregnancy? I know everyone is different and none is the same. The other thing I'm wondering is while you were pregnant did you still experience endo pain? Did anyone need any fertility medications to help conceive if you have iregular periods and how long were you having to try before the doctor gave you medication

Hey, I’m worried about when I come to trying for a baby too I have endo but not PCOS. I know that endo pain does continue with pregnancy for some people but also it goes away for others during pregnancy and does not come back. Or it can go away during pregnancy and (if) breast feeding but comes back after.

When it comes to trying for a baby, the usual timeline is 1 year of trying to conceive and if you are unsuccessful, after this time you may get some help. But if you are known to have health issues that can affect your fertility then you may only have to be trying for 6 months (I’m not sure if that’s the case everywhere)

I know it’s easier said than done but try not worry about it and get don’t stress because that alone could stop you being able to conceive. People have been trying for a year unsuccessfully then been referred to a fertility doctor and whilst they’ve been on the waiting list they’ve conceived - because they’ve just relaxed about the situation. Hope this helps! Good luck! 🤞🏻

Hey- it took me 2 1/2 yrs to conceive my baby, we also tried ivf which failed. I experienced no endo symptoms or pain during pregnancy but it came back straight after birth and I have just had excision surgery in March.

My only advice would be to try not to stress, stay positive and just keep trying xx
