3 Nights in a Row
For years I've suffered from night terrors. I've had 3 nights in a row of relatively good dreams and sleep. It's hard to separate what may have contributed to the change. What I've done differently: 1. Worked through some pretty heavy stuff in counseling from angles that haven't been done before.

Lichen sclerosus relief
I started adding almond oil and drops of essential lavender oil to my bath a few weeks ago. A side effect has been that I noticed relief from lichen sclerosus problems. Now I've googled it this is recognised as being helpful and there are other suggestions out there such as using borax which I may also

Trying out different vitamins
My original count was 33 when o found out I had ITP about 9 weeks ago I looked up many items on ITP and some said diet and vitamins helped. I thought I would give it a try. I totally changed my diet and stopped drinking alcohol I don't know if it is a coincidence or not as I know they can jump up and

Hello, and homocysteine
I'm Ruth, 65 and live in the UK. I recently did the Food for the Brain quiz and came out a bit iffy. So I did as they advised and had my homocysteine tested. The level was 9.4 which puts me at some risk of alzheimers according to their scale. I am aware of my memory and attention being less good than

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Alpha-Linolenic Acid [ALA]
A major source of ALA is
flaxseed
oil
. When I came across it over fifty years ago, it was as linseed
oil
- shellac & linseed
oil
makes a nice finish on woodwork projects.
Flaxseed
oil
is very unstable. Users know to buy cold-pressed refrigerated oil & keep it in the fridge.

Irritating Pain / Over-Sensitivity
I have pain on the left side of my penis. The pain is felt on the glans itself (corona), and neck of penis. Not sure how it started exactly, either I injured myself from stretching exercises or it could be pelvic floor muscles tension, they both started around the same time. My erection levels are normal

Well looks like I'm on my own!
So, since last year when all of this misery kicked off i have changed GP surgeries once, seen two endocrinologists, a gastroenterologist, a haematologist, had an iron transfusion costing a LOT of money, went form 3 months of torture on levothyroxine, several months faffing on armour and now settled

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Fish - Marine Omega-3 - EPA & DHA
This is a companion piece to "Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Fish", that considers marine omega-3 from seafood & supplements, & attempts to explain why it may be important in PCa, in spite of conflicting studies. Human studies have yielded confusing results. One might expect inconsistencies between populations
