It's back what supplements are ok?
Hi all, Budge up everyone, I need a place at the PMR table again. My last Pred was taken in December 2016 or so I thought. My osteo arthiritis flared a couple of weeks ago but after three days of Flarin it didn't calm down. I noticed after a while a few familiar shoulder twinges and booked a telephone

Hypothyroidism
Put him on a red yeast rice based cholesterol aid, also on
fish
oil
for this. He has no symptoms but is losing weight, not gaining. I know hypothyroidism can cause weight loss also.

Supplement timing
Hey just wanted to check in on timing the following supplements and if you would add any others in or increase the amount. I take 150mg of Levothyroxine in the morning an hour before anything but water. I eat a gluten free diet and am careful about cross contamination. Sadly disnt get tested before

Treatment of damages due to radiation
asked him why we do not use the know-how of doctors dealing with nuclear exposure. Many of us suffer from damages produced by radiation....like blood in stool, urine and other damages. However when I visit doctors, it seems they are ignorant of treatment for damages due to Radiation. I feel we should

Asthma and essential oils diffuser?
My sister bought me one of these diffusers (think that’s what it’s called) you put essential oil’s in. I wanted to check it was save to use with asthma but I’m finding conflicting advice on the net. Does anyone know anything about this? I’m not sure whether I should go ahead and use it or politely

I’m 44, do I need HRT? Please help!
My periods stopped all of a sudden when I was 43 back in September 2020. They came back in July 2021 for 3 months. Although the first two were only 22 days apart. Then they stopped again in September 2021. I’ve had awful sleep issues, extreme hair loss, extremely dry skin, aches and pains. Brain fog

Penis morning discharge, possible Thrush?
47 year old male, being taking a small steroid (very weak) for another condition (around a year now) which is working well. I am uncircumcised, and around taking this (i'm sure it tallies), I get a morning discharge on waking up. White liquid, sometimes yellowy, before jumping in the shower. Foreskin

Clarification for Ppiman and Secondtry.........
Shyman calling. Ppiman had problems trying to reduce Omeprazole dosage. One of several drugs in the PPI family (Proton Pump Inhibitors). Blocking acid production to prevent reflux. Hello lovely people. I've just come off the pill as I am newly single and my friend said that was probably going to get my hormones all out of whack and bring on acne (or at least that was what happened to her). She swears by evening primrose oil which she said sorted it out. I was quite nervous about

The Neuroendocrine Connection
Adrenal hormones, sex hormones, and neurotransmitters are functionally interrelated. Changes in sex hormones and adrenal hormones can lead to neurotransmitter imbalances. In turn, neurotransmitter imbalances can affect hormone function. The following tests are recommended to establish your baseline.
