Contraceptive pill
I’ve recently been prescribed onto this pill to regulate mood swings and periods. Does anyone know if you can take cod liver oil pills and multivitamins along side? Thank!

Counteracting the negative effects of ADT on the CV system?
I do take supplements including
fish
oil
& krill oil. I’m scheduled to see a cardiologist the next time I go to Duke just to discuss this situation. My RO said most of his patients die of heart attacks & not prostate cancer.

Why you should NOT supplement high-dose D3
https://youtu.be/GsomcvdT7Po This random video I came across deserves more views. If you're baffled about how to get enough vitamin D when not exposed to regular sunlight, try supplementing raw cold-pressed cod liver oil instead along with vitamin K. https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/cod-liver-oil

Epsom Salt and essential oils foot soak query
just a quick enquiry. I bought these lovely Epsom salts to give myself a relaxing foot soak but then read the list of essential oils and thought they might not be so good after all. 🤦♀️ I take flecainide, bisoprolol, warfarin and levothyroxine. Do foot soaks mean you absorb a lot of the essential

Berberine / Curcurmin essential oils?
I’ve been reading about use of Berberine, curcurmin, clove and cinnamon oils for SIBO/ SIFO symptoms. (In Dr William Davies book supergut) I’m pretty much there with resolving my GI issues so reticent to mess around, but you know how it goes, I’m also curious as to whether it could be even better.

Natural remedies. Essential oils.
Have any of you used essential oils to help with PBC. I have been researching the use of oils to help detox and dilate the ducts to help with releasing the bile. I want to take info to my Dr for discussion. Medication side effects have been so severe that I only take milk thistle. My ALT and AST are

New to forum - Advice on my test results and diagnosis would be greatly appreciated plus next steps
After feeling unwell for a number of years I finally went private for full screening and diagnosis as GP would only test TSH even though I had classic hypothyroid symptoms. Other health conditions- I have mild kidney failure, hypertension and slightly elevated haematocrit. I initially went to medichecks

Cardiovascular Protections from Omega 3 supplements now Doubtful
I have been taking a combined Omega3 supplement (EPA and DHA
fish
oil
)to improve my cardiovascular risk profile along with a statin, baby ASA and careful BP management. I am a carnivore/omnivore but only eat fish twice per week usually. (Please don’t beat me up over my diet PBWF folks!)

IVF at 29 years old
A lot of people often tell me that I am young and time is on my side. At 18 I felt something was not right with my body (periods were prolonged and painful, fluctuating weight) and I seem to have a phantom issue as nothing has been found wrong yet. At 27 years old I had 8MC's last one in 2017. Since

Omega 3 fish oil
I've read that omega 3 is great for NASH. I'm really not a big fish eater though, a bit of tuna and that's it. Does anyone know if omega 3 supplements are liver friendly?

agonist versus antagonist issue
Switching to Degarelix or maybe the oral version after 5 months of monthly goserelin implant ? With the evidence on cardio and other risks reduced with using an antagonist such as degarelix or relugolix what’s the view on the benefits of doing this when having already started in the RT plus goserelin

Gentle liver flush - any benefits?
Hi All I've been reading about the link between hypothyroid and liver. I have decided to do a gentle detox. This involves castor oil on a cloth and a hot water bottle and lying it on the liver region for about 45 minutes. I've do it two days in a row. I just wondered if anyone else has done this and
