Blood test results help please
Hello, I'm new to this forum so I apologise if this has all been asked before. I have been being investigated for hypothyroidism by my GP - several blood tests over the past year have shown my T4 level to be lower than 12, so my GP referred to endocrinologist. Endocrinologist ordered a fasting blood

Perimenopausal and should I take hrt?
Hello, I am trying to assess whether I am perimenopausal or if I just have the usual under active thyroid symptoms. I'm 42 and struggle with the following symptoms...no sex drive and loss of ongoing dryness, headaches on one side of my head with constant tinnitus on this same side, tiredness and mood

lemon sole with a chive sauce .
pan fried the
fish
two minutes each side in a little olive
oil
. Nice with a chive sauce over , used sour cream and a Dijon mustard (1/2 tsp) plus chives . No bones in the fish at M&S . My main meal today at 1330 . Is it better to have a smaller meal at 1730 than lunchtime to lose weight ?

RLS and menopause
Hey ladies! I’m suffering with menopause. What can I take to get some relief that won’t exasperate my RLS. Currently, I take the lowest dose of pramipexole and it’s under control , along with a probiotic, and krill oil. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

My daughter has suffered with menstrual issues for several years now and takes Microgynon back to back for the symptoms. She recently had an mri which showed no evidence of endo but polycystic ovaries. Shes had some bloods done which came back <0.3 Fsh and <0.1 Lh. What could this mean? We've got

Tommy’s miscarriage testing
Hi all, Thinking of getting my doctor to do a Tommy’s referral for my recurrent miscarriages. They don’t put much on their website about the blood tests they do to help pinpoint a problem. Can anyone who has seen them for early recurrent loss and implantation failure give me an idea of the blood tests

ideal biochemistry monitoring
question: I know that there are protols for regular blood PSA and sometimes Testosterone when on SOC following RT and during the 2-3 years ADT (with localised high risk G9-10). My excellent ONC does a full biochemistry every 3 months with a face to face meeting which is great, but I will have to

confused as to why my fsh is low.
I’m almost 50 and I’m pretty sure that I’m going through menopause. Hot flushes, weight gain, changing body shape, excess facial hair growth. My periods are suppressed due to taking norethisterone so I can’t go by that. My most recent blood tests I had done put my fsh at 1.6 but everything I’ve read

Needed LDL Cholesterol lowering ideas naturally
I tried Omega 3
Fish
oil
but it reduced my only Triglycerides to normal level and increased my HDL and my LDL is still high so what I came to the point from my experience that Omega 3 doesn't reduce LDL Cholesterol. Long term use of Cholesterol lowering medicines can develop Type 2 diabetes.

Fibroscan score of 17.2 (NAFLD)
I’ve seen online mentioning that you have to have healthy fats to bring down the fat content, so I’ve been incorporating avocados, extra virgin olive
oil
,
fish
etc into my diet now, but I really don’t know if that’s ok.

Dry eyes and mouth
Is sea buckthorn oil capsules good for sjogrens syndrome? I had this diagnosis yrs ago and I know there is a correlation between sjogrens and hashimotos which I also have. Tried lots of eye lubricants (Prescriotion and OTC ) and oral sprays over the years but nothing has helped. Think I may have heard

Female and thyroid hormones
Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me figure something out. After my youngest was born 5.5 years ago my periods didn't come back for 2 years, due to extended breastfeeding. Since they returned they haven't ever regularised with cycle length varying each time. Over the 18 months or so my periods

MCT Oil
in another thread someone posted today about MCT oil. I hadn’t heard of this and have tried to research it. It seems to be useful in a variety of situations and claims include support in weight gain, increased energy, constipation t and pain relief. Really it sounds a bit of a ‘cure all’. I’m wondering
