I have stage 4 endometriosis and have been trying for a baby for the past year unsuccessfully. I have a blocked tube, tilted uterus and now apparently diminished egg reserve.
We finally had an nhs fertility appointment and was told we meet the criteria for funded ivf.
But my blood test have come back with poor results for my age 💔
I am 31 and my FSH is 13.5 and AMH 7.
My gynaecologist said it’s likely due to damage to my ovaries when removing endometriosis during laparoscopy.
fsh is above the criteria of 8.9 for funding but AMH is within range. So not sure if I will be rejected or not. I am prepared to go privately if I have to.
Have any of you had similar results and successfully gotten pregnant? Also do you recommend any supplements? I started taking Proceive conception a few weeks ago

I had my son after IVF: I did have different AMH/FSH numbers, but also have stage 4 endo, adeno, pcos, and my husbands sperm was rubbish.
I really recommend the book “is my body baby friendly”. Your partner (assuming male) also should take supplements. We took loads of supplements (as recommended in the book), and i also had the scratch and acupuncture.
Hi Jen, I just came across this and I’m right in the thick of it! How many cycles/transfers did you end up doing to get your baby boy? Did you do anything differently?
hello I don't have experience of AMH/FSH but have stage 4 endo with extensive bowel involvement, and was diagnosed aged 35. I had my first lap in June last year and 2 rounds of IVF the second of which was successful and baby is due in August. NICE guidelines state that having the condition your health care provider should ensure you have access to fertility treatment. If you have been referred to a specialist centre for endo they should be involved/consulted on fertility treatment. I took pregnacare conception for a good while before I started IVF and follow a gluten free/dairy free diet and decaf coffee though I am aware it's never 100% caffeine free.. Also it's totally understandable if you are living with endo and going through fertility treatment to want to treat yourself as it's tough! Be sure to talk with a trusted friend/family member or your partner. I also found my local endo UK group and reading advice and experiences on here really helped me. All the best of luck xx
38yo, fit and health conscious person. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, with it found on my bladder and bowel. I had lap surgery after the first round of IVF. Our chances of having a baby was slim. I went through three rounds of IVF, with a pregnancy on the second round which unfortunately resulted in a miscarriage (9weeks). Just before starting my fourth round of IVF and on prep medication (testogel, melatonin, dectapetyl etc), I found out we had conceived naturally. I now have a healthy 11 week old. Although it’s an incredibly difficult journey, there are enough success stories to keep persevering.
