Coping strategy for very stressed mummy pls ?
I was wondering how parents have been coping with constipation and constant wetting? My daughter is 4 1/2 and has been constipated since birth. We were ignored by the doctors for 3 years and now under a consultant and a nurse. However i rarely get appointments and am left alone to manage medication

Delightful hospital experience at Endocrinology
Hi everyone, this morning I was lucky to see a fabulous Endocrinologist. He was a very charming and excitable Greek gentleman who had to keep standing up to explain with his arms what he though was going on with me. He is writing to Rheumatology because he doesn't think it is right that they haven't

First FET and progynova side effects
Hello, started our first FET a few weeks ago and have been on progynova for a week. I was told it should make me feel better but I feel like I’m losing my mind. I feel so so low and have had a headache or migraine every day. I’m juggling a ton of other life stuff (selling our flat and moving, deadlines

Colonoscopy
Hi everyone. I’m having my first ever colonoscopy next Wednesday 22nd. I have an afternoon appointment. I’m really nervous (I suffer with anxiety anyway) about taking the moviprep solution more than the procedure itself. I’m going to take it with Lucazade and ice and through a straw. Can anyone give

Finally at peace
My sweetheart and soulmate said his final goodbyes on Wednesday evening May 29. He contracted a nasty upper respiratory infection the beginning of May and due to his PSP could not clear his lungs. Was admitted to hospice care at home on May 3 and put on oxygen 24/7. After a few days recovery from oxygen

A ramble about a run, consequences of, subsequent rest and another run!
Last Monday I did my first 10k, pb times etc. And of course I was super happy. 2 days later I had some aches that niggled and I felt I’d best not ignore them. I’d torn a calf muscle at Christmas and although not troublesome since, I was now definitely aware of its existence again as it felt really tight

ethyl acetate nail varnish instead of toner. Idiot.
I recently burnt my face with ethyl acetate nail varnish ( don't ask used wrong bottle). I thought I got it all off and the next day my face was all red burning.in places. Then my forehead had a shine that has not disappeared since February so I'm coming to terms that this is a scar. It's shiny. Also

8.5lb cat landed on my pelvis
I'm 6.5 weeks pregnant, this evening my husband dropped my cat on my pelvis as I was laying on my back. It really hurt where her paw landed just in from my knicker line at the side. This was at approximately 7.30pm, it is now 4.30am and I am still in discomfort in the area. I emailed my fertility specialist

5 year old, no longer constipated, but is scared to poo and withholds it
Hello all. Our 5 year old son was constipated 10 days ago but we gave him movicol and suppositories and got all the backlog out. However, he is now refusing to let his soft poo come out. He is shouting from pain and is in a very bad mood and is unpleasant to be with (very different from his regular character

"Speed" podcast run... and a tumble
Felt suprisingly comforable doing my 1-2-3-4 beat runs, and then speeding up for 60 seconds. Had no idea how long this was going to take, but then just as I was going well I tood a tumble on the track I use... it was one of those slow mo things when you know you are going to fall, but try so hard not

Five and a half year old bedwetting.
My daughter cannot grasp staying dry at night. Potty training her was super easy she was three and got it within a week. I've spoken to her doctor who says this is normal even though the NHS website says it's not. Only 1 in five children wet the bad at five years old. I've tried everything from reward
