Forteo at 6 months, side effects, new pen?
Wasnt doing too badly on Forteo every second day and now on month 6, started developing fluey type migraine head daily, dizziness, vertigo, fatigue, stiff and can hardly walk for a few minutes when getting out of chair and feeling sick a lot. All this seemed to start soon after starting a new pen. Has

RLC Labs have withdrawn Nature-Throid, Westthroid and WP Thyroid. All in one fell swoop! Help?
Can anyone help me find a good source of NDT or Liothyronine now that RLC Labs have withdrawn Nature-Throid, Westthroid and WP Thyroid. All in one fell swoop! I was then forced to return to Armour after many years, (despite the obscene price) and had a nasty reaction probably to one of the fillers -

The canary down the mine. Covid vaccine for over 65's with Hashimoto's ?
I know it's early days, but does anyone on here have any information about over 65's with Hashimoto's (and high antibodies) having a reaction to any of the covid vaccines? The blue envelope has just dropped on the mat. The appointment has been set for next week. (Cue theme for 'Jaws'...) . This comes

I have been on 24 mgs deflazacort (and up to 40gs) for 3 months because of a flare. I am trying to reduce by 10 percent per fortnight but I don't seem to be making any headway: Lower back, groin, knee, shoulder pain and fatigue. I was diagnosed in August 2018 and from 15mgs I reduced with very few symptoms

Methyl cellulose
Hi, I’ve had IBS for years and tried lots of medications to help with diarrhoea, eventually my dr prescribed celevac ( methyl cellulose). This changed my life, I go to the toilet normally, able to go for a walk without worrying etc. Unfortunately I was told today that it’s been discontinued and no longer

Red January done n dusted sit down time & rest 👍
January is a long old month! Red January doesn't make it any shorter, but it definitely makes it more interesting. Did I know what I was letting myself in for? Nope, ok run every day, it's easy to say it but actually do it! Challenging at times, enjoyable very, tiring hmmmm 🤔 tired doesn't exist when

Lower abdominal discomfort after opening bowels
I'm getting a lot of lower abdominal pain after going to the toilet in the morning. It started a day or so after having a bout of diarrhoea. Stools look more or less normal and I'm not going to the toilet any more often. I just can't get rid of this discomfort which feels as if I'm going to have a

Has anyone had experience of having thyrogen injections? I had them back in the summer and felt fine but this time I feel very emotional.

On the edge with too many decisions
Long story, some venting, need input. Some of you have followed my story of my major car accident last March. It was the other driver’s fault, but I was really hurt. So, on top of COVID-19, I was hospitalized alone, had no job, and spent 9 moths in physical therapy only to have them tell me they have

My husband's depression after a TBI

Returning pain
I had a spinal compression fracture back in August. Pain eventually became almost non existent until a week or so ago when I did some tai chi. The aching and discomfort is now back. The gp feels it’s because I’m using muscles that I haven’t used for a while but I’m worried it could be a further fracture

In need of positive reinforcement
Hi all, I’m so sorry I haven’t been on here lately. As I’m sure you can imagine I’ve been quite preoccupied trying to figure everything out post covid. A year ago I lost my job, and my career prospects seem more bleak than ever. I live in New York and things have been getting more difficult as I’ve

Headache caused by Ozium air sanitizer spray-will I be ok??
My roommate sprayed Ozium disinfectant aerosol spray which is Triethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol and some other chemicals (isopronol) about 30 minutes before I came in the room and I noticed the room smelled really strongly and I had a mild irritation in my throat/eyes. I left the building after

Very very very scary
I've been suffering for years since I had the severest antidepressant withdrawal that caused me a severe brain shock or trauma. Recovery has been so slow even if I've been getting better. I had the very severe morning hell for last 3 or 4 days.....so bad. But I feel stable this morning without
