Brain Aneurysm Recovery
Hi everyone, I made a post on here about a month ago regarding my father who suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm alongside small strokes and seizures on the left side of his brain shortly after. A month ago, he was pretty much out of it and would barely even open his eyes. He has made great improvements

Feeling drunk after prometrium
Hi Team! i'm currently 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Because of my previous losses, I take lots of progesterone - 2 pessaries in the morning (200mg each) and 2 at night (200mg each). I also take Prometrium (100mg) during the middle of the day and find that I get a super tipsy/dizzy feeling about 1/2

IBS aged 84
I have had ibs for over 20 years, had all sorts of tests, 3 colonoscopies, the last one just before Covid started. The last 3 months have been so bad, I rarely have a day without diarrhoea and stomach pain. Coupled with this I have haemorrhoids, rheumatoid arthritis and had a stroke a couple of years

Hi going on Meropenem again. This is the third time since September. I've had two X rays still showing a shadow on my left lung waiting for a Ct Scan. At the moment I feel like it's never ending. 😕😡 Holly

Dealing with lying
Hi all. I’m new here so bear with me. It’s a long one... My son is 7 and we still haven’t tackled day or bedtime wetting. For nighttime he has been prescribed Desmopressin which has helped, plus we have a bed wetting alarm. To be honest, being a boy, his winky often misses the sensor! Our main problem

Subchorionic Hematoma
So I found out since my earlier post, that my bleeding is a subchorionic hematoma. So now I'm on as much bed rest as possible. How long do these things normally last? The bleeding has gone down so just a small spot light brown when I wipe. Doc said work is screwed as I shouldn't go in to the office

IBS-D help
I have just had blood tests and stool tests to have a check up and came back normal which has stopped me worrying. I suffer from IBS-D and have Alverine and loperamide from the doctor. Does anyone have any other good remedies to try and help? I know probiotics don’t work for everyone but just wondering

Prolapse and bowel incontinence
Can bowel incontinence be caused by a prolapse of some sort. My doctor has just told me to take immodium for a while, and I am feeling odd protrusions in my vagina. I am 70, and had a long posterior labour with my first son, followed by forceps delivery and episiotomy, which has left scarring.

Retinal tear on left eye
Hi... I recently had two retinal tears to my eye and had emergency surgery. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and what was the outcome long term? Feeling a bit low and isolated 🥴

Any tips or advice for IBS-D?
I've been suffering with IBS since I was diagnosed at 14 or so. Over the years, I progressively gotten worse and is now landing me in a pit of depression. As sad as it is, i feel like i can't go on any longer and I've only just turned 20. I'm scared to work, I'm scared to continue my ambitions all because

Second day of injecting buserelin.
This is a bit embarrassing! I’m on my second day of taking buserelin injections. I seem to have a really funny tummy and diarrhoea. Has anyone experienced the same symptoms when taking this drug?

New here...anyone from Ontario?
Hi there, I have APS and moved to Ontario (near London) from Alberta 3 years ago. I have yet to find a doctor who has any specific knowledge of APS, and would like to. I was diagnosed in 2013, after being hospitalized with multiple clots (the main one was all throughout the IVC, extending into renal

Cetrotide - getting it all out
Hello. I'm doing my first egg freezing cycle. I've been okay with the other injections but today was the first time with cetrotide and I found it really tricky. A lot of air bubbles and I couldn't get all of the solution out. Does anyone have any tips to get it all out? I was wondering whether I should
