Retinal tear on left eye

Hi... I recently had two retinal tears to my eye and had emergency surgery.

I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and what was the outcome long term? Feeling a bit low and isolated 🥴

I had a retinal tear to left eye in 2015, had treatment with laser and cold (forgotten what that's called). I've been fine since, although i have some floaters. Hope all goes well for you x.

Hi just seen your post how are things now two months on? Hope things have settled. I had two tears and a bleed on Thursday like you had emergency laser surgery. Yesterday was awful I could barely see, cloudy, massive black floaters and a film of millions of tiny black dots covering my vision. I only have sight in this eye too so really worrying. Spoke to emergency eye clinic at hospital felt like they fobbed me off, only after I insisted have appointment for Tuesday. Did you have similar and how quickly did things settle? Hope all is good for you now. Today is maybe a touch clearer so keeping everything crossed.
