Hello. I'm doing my first egg freezing cycle. I've been okay with the other injections but today was the first time with cetrotide and I found it really tricky. A lot of air bubbles and I couldn't get all of the solution out. Does anyone have any tips to get it all out? I was wondering whether I should switch to the small needle to draw it all out

Just an update in case it helps anyone, I watched a video from a different clinic that showed more clearly how to get the remaining solution out. I disinfected the both needles with the alcohol wipes. I put the large needle back on to the syringe. Instead of tipping the vial upside down, I pushed the big needle at an angle so that it's drawing it up from the bottom side of the vial. I got it all out. There was quite a bit. Using small needle, I injected the remaining amount.
Hope that it's okay that I did it in 2 goes, 30 mins apart.
I also found cetrotide a pain and spent ages trying to get air bubbles out. It also really initiated my skin (raised itchy lump straight after injection). I also had to leave it in for a few seconds after injecting otherwise some of it bubbled out onto my skin.
Glad you've managed to suss out something that's working. But just wanted you to know you're not alone. This medication is a pain!
Wishing you lots of luck with your cycle.
Xx
I had to do exactly what your updated comment said I'm glad it's working for you! I bloody hated those injections so fiddly and itchy.
