18 months ago following a fibroscan I was diagnosed with F3. I have not made any major lifestyle changes as I didn't feel I needed to. I have been on lots of medication for many years. I started to take Milk thistle tablets daily and Vitamin E with selenium several months ago. I also increased ny coffee intake.
I have also increased my daily walks.
I went for a fibroscan today and I my results were a 6 which is classed as 0 fibrosis. I was pleasantly shocked and very happy.
In strongly believe the above medication etc has alot to do with this.

Just a small note: while a Fibroscan result of 6 kPa is fantastic, and it's really great news for you, it's important to remember that Fibroscan measurements can vary for many reasons. Sometimes the initial Fibroscan result might have been overestimated, and the recent one could possibly be underestimated. Differences between scans can happen due to temporary factors like inflammation, recent meals, or even if the tests were done on different machines or by different operators. This is why trends over time and repeated tests are usually the most reliable way to confirm whether fibrosis has truly improved. Supplements like milk thistle, vitamin E, selenium, and coffee may offer some supportive benefits, but on their own, they aren't typically strong enough to reverse significant fibrosis without major lifestyle changes. True fibrosis regression is usually a gradual process and is best confirmed with multiple tests over time, including blood markers (like ALT, AST, platelets, albumin) and sometimes imaging or even biopsy.
Still, your result is very encouraging! It might be a good idea to keep monitoring your liver health regularly to better understand the full picture.
