Query about varying test dates - programmed vs natural FET
Hello. Wondered if anyone could advise. I’m having a programmed transfer shortly. Our test date will be 14 days following transfer of a 5 day embryo. For previous natural FET’s our test date has been 11 days following transfer. Does anyone know why the advised test date would vary depending on the type

FET with Immature Blastocysts?
Has anyone had a successful
FET
with immature blastocysts? Our embryologist called on Sunday (Day 6) to let us know that they would be freezing two, but that they were immature, sadly in both the happiness/confusion I did not even ask what this will mean for our first cycle.

failed cryo embryo transfer
Hello I am a 44yo woman. My husband and I underwent ivf cycle earlier this year with own egg. We managed to get 9 eggs and 5 embryo. We had to get them genetically tested and after the long process we have 1 frozen embryo of high quality. So we were very excited about the next step and we started

Promotion and IVF, should I do a freeze all?
I’m in the process of a brand new fresh cycle. I’m due to start in the next few weeks, and incidentally, I was offered a promotion which I accepted without hesitation. I officially begin my new role in the next few weeks as well, and I’d like to go ahead with my cycle anyway because of my age (41) and

Progesterone levels?
Hi all, I seem to have become a serial poster of late and I really appreciate the responses. I'm struggling to find info about what Progesterone levels should be on embryo transfer and then going forward. I had a day 3 fresh ET and apparently my progesterone levels were 395 nmol/l on that day. It's now

TWW & no Symptoms
I feel completely different having this
FET
from when I had a fresh transfer in the summer. last summer i had a positive result but the 7wk scan showed an empty sac. Last time I felt bloated and breasts were tender etc but this time I have no symptoms at all, has anyone experienced this?

Low Beta HCG post FET and left groin pain.
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to me but had a positive outcome? I had a Beta HCG of 38 10DPET, then my repeat 2 days later was 80. The nurse told me we are not out of the woods yet and even though it’s doubled it’s highly likely to be an ectopic or biochemical pregnancy. I have

Exercise during meds (not stims)
Need to reduce inflammation in the body and I believe exercise will help but I don't know the situation when on meds (I know on stims to take it easy but what about on
FET
type meds). Thanks to anyone that can offer any insights x

Help… I’m about to have a major progesterone panic! 😩
So… after a couple of delays with some unwanted fibroids and cysts getting in the way (literally), we’ve started the
FET
process and I had my transfer yesterday.

Pain on right side 5 weeks pregnant

Sitagliptin
Has anyone ever been prescribed sitagliptin for recurrent implantation failure? I had a biopsy in Coventry (Dr Brosens) as we’ve had 3 failed transfers with top embryos and it has shown results which are more in keeping with recurrent miscarriages (which I’ve never had, never had a positive test) rather

how long after a miscarriage can you start new treatment?
Now I’m thinking about next steps and wondering how long I should wait before another
fet
? Mentally I feel completely ready but physically the M really took its toll (far more pain than I expected!) and I want to let my body recover so I have the best chance next time.

NHS wait time question
I understand that no one can answer this question totally accurately but I wondered what people’s wait times between cycles has generally been on the nhs for first-second transfer? Our wait time from first hospital consult to embryo transfer was initially 8 months. Our next cycle doesn’t involve an egg

Tips to manage embryo transfer phase
Hi my great family, The long wait will be over this week as my transfer day 5 has been scheduled. I produced 11eggs, 8 matured, 5 got fertilized via ICSI. I had mild lower abdomen cramp, which I kept drinking lot of water and it got better. Currently I am not feeling the lower abdomen cramp like before

Neurologist update and gaviscon
Just a quick update. I met with the private neurologist and she was very perplexed. She did a very thorough physical examination and said I was neurologically normal- meaning no loss of balance, sensations, numbness, etc. She said the symptoms I have are similar to small fiber neuropathy but the examination

Hi 👋 Does anyone know how long you usually have to wait between egg retrieval and a Frozen Embryo Transfer? We got 5 good quality embryos which have now been frozen 🙂
