IVF funding question
If you’re allowed 6 embryo transfers from a maximum of 3 stimulation cycles does this mean you can do 3 egg collections and have 6 transfers from those collections max? Or does it mean something else? I’m probably being stupid but I don’t understand this 😑.

Issues with meds before FET
Hey ladies, I’m curious to know if anyone has had any issues with the oestrogen tablets before a
FET
? I’m on day 2 of them and have to take 3 a day but one of my knees has swollen due to water retention and I’m worried it’s because of the tablets.

Chronic Endometritis
Hey lovely ladies! My question today related to endometritis/chronic uterine inflammation. I have done 4 hysteroscopies so far (two in 2021, one in 2022, one in 2023), each time the inflamed endometrium came out, with a "strawberry" appearance. After the tests, I came out positive for Ureaplasma (at

Shared motherhood fresh transfer
Hi all. I'm back after a break. Me and my partner are doing the shared motherhood IVF. We have done it in the past however we had frozen embryo transfers. Has anyone had experience of fresh transfers for shared motherhood/reciprocal ivf? How in sync should both cycles be? I keep getting different answers

Differing embryo quality for a double embryo transfer
Hi ladies, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with having a really good quality and a more poor quality day 5 blastocyst transferred together? I’ve read conflicting things. One consultant told me they wouldn’t recommend it and another said they don’t see why not. So I thought I’m best

An Idiot’s Guide to Egg Donation
Hi, I’ve recently started looking into egg donation, but have a million questions about the practicalities. I wanted to see if you lovely ladies might be able to help. My preference is to have the treatment in the UK, but I’m looking for an egg donor of a certain religion - which means I’ll probably

5 days past fresh embryo transfer. I feel very much not pregnant...
Struggling a bit this evening with negative thoughts. I just don’t feel pregnant. Whilst I understand that maybe I wouldn’t feel pregnant, the lack of signals from my body at the moment isn’t filling me with optimism. I’m meant to be testing two weeks after transfer but I have already decided to test

Post embryo transfer intense cramps, has anyone experience this???
I had my embryo transfer on Sunday and have been feeling good ever since. I just woke in the night with quite strong womb cramping that was also in my vagina. I then got the sensation that I needed to go to the bathroom to pass a bowel movement. So I went and now I feel okay again. Has anyone experienced

5th transfer done - tips for getting through next 10 days.
After 15 months of having a break and embryo banking, I’ve just had my 5th embryo transfer in my quest for my first baby. It was a 5ab frozen embryo transfer and now is the dreaded 10 day wait for pregnancy blood test. Any tips/advice on what worked for you getting through the wait? I find it so hard

implantation failure
Hi everyone, looking for some feedback on implantation failure and whether there’s anything I can do or if the failure is more likely from Embryo quality. I’ve had two double embryo transfers with my own eggs (collected at age 37/38- two batches of 4 and 5 a month either side of my 38th birthday)

Next round with Clexane
So I’m back in the game this time round with a medicated cycle and
FET
with Lubion and Clexane added. I previously had natural
FET
, hope this makes a difference.

Embryo transfer update and two vs one embryo
Update on my current situation: I have 11 embryos on day 5 yet to reach blastocyst size. They are nurturing them and will update me again tomorrow. I had 3 embryos that were ready for transfer. Annoyingly my clinic uses a different grading system. Two of mine were B+B+ and one was B-B+. Anyways,

FET - can someone outline this process
I have a telephone appointment with the nurse to begin the
FET
process on 24th January and my period is due to start around the same time. Are blood tests and scans normally needed before starting the hormones for
FET
? On what cycle day are hormones normally started?

We’re your periods out of sync the months after IVF?
I’m trying to plan ahead for my
FET
and working out dates (ish) when I can plan for but it’s making it difficult. Never had this before after IVF so wondering how common it is? TIA

13 days after FET neg result
Hi everyone, I was trying to be mega disciplined, waiting until Day 14 after my
FET
to do my pregnancy test, but seeing as that is now less than a day away I decided to test this afternoon on Day 13....and it was negative. The clinic said to test on Day 14.
