Laparoscopy and fertility

I'm reading that laparoscopy could reduce your egg count. Is this true?

I'm having laparoscopy for endo next month while planning to do IVF as soon as possible (I'm 41).

I'm also reading that you can't have IVF right after laparoscopy.

I don't have heavy symptoms of endo, so I don't want to risk my fertility for that.

Any help?
